He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! 1. 10-year's of SGT ownership

Ten years for me as of this month. Had stripes painted on last year and car looks like it just came from showroom floor.
  2. SGT Sightings

Passed a Shelby vert in my Shelby coupe yesterday, Cobb County Ga. Gave and received acknowledgement.
  3. Fuel fill / gauge issue

I used a techron based cleaner and add fuel with techron now, gauge has been fine since.
  4. Just Got Tagged

OMG! I would have cried..... Hope it is returned to it's original luster. Unbelievable that an individual would think that is funny.
  5. Fuel Gauge

I experienced similar issues with my gas gauge with daily driving. I ran seafoam in the tank and have switched to gas with techron and the gauge is working properly now.
  6. 2088 Vista Blue with agent 47 mirrors and shr window louvres
  7. Vista Blue SGT Thread

    Sorry...got 2 shaker 500 head units tho
  8. Vista Blue SGT Thread

I will check my basement to see if the old head unit is there (my son may have hocked it via craigslist). If it is I will let you know.
  9. My driving distance has reduced significantly since retirement. In a three month period I average a total of 500 miles. My question is how often should I change synthetic oil? I am currently changing every 3-4 months regardless of mileage. With the use of synthetics do I need to continue this schedule? Thanks for your input.
  10. Had a GT500 dual fuel pump installed in June and now my check engine light is on and indicates a fuel sensor issue. The mod shop took all apart and came back saying could not find anything wrong with the pump. Now my gas gauge is not reading properly, any suggestions?
  11. Paxton on the way

Injected tuned. I have had numerous mods done by them: frpp dual fuel pump, lower control arms, jba shorty headers, the Paxton. Aric does meticulous work, Ryan is very easy to work with. I have been very happy with their work and with their attention to detail.
  12. Paxton on the way

Congratulations! I had the Paxton 2200sl/intercooler installed about a year ago and the ride is incredible. Mine was tuned by Injected Engineering in Kennesaw and those guys do a superb job. Good luck with the new toy.
  13. Lots of haters in this world

Update: Ford dealership has estimated damage at $1400! The dent is in the seam and therefore means the door will need to be fixed, repainted and re stripped, no PDR. Needless to say the store claims department now says my car cannot be seen in the parking lot--only driving out! This establishment has now lost my patronage and I grocery shop there at least once a week. My insurance company is calling this a comprehensive claim and will fix minus my deductible.
  14. Lots of haters in this world

Thank you, I took your advice and talked with the store manager today. He gave me all the needed info to contact the store's corporate claims office. He also has said he will have the parking lot video pulled (last I heard they had at least located my vehicle on tape) and let me know if it was deliberate or a non secured cart.
  15. Lots of haters in this world

I see you are from Marietta, be forewarned this "jack wagon" is somewhere in Acworth. So yea, lots of haters in Cobb...
