  1. Hello all. I am contemplating selling the Shelby, and am putting it out to the community first. As you know, 1 of 4 automatics. 1 of 2 automatics with navigation. This car was not supposed to even be built. It has been appraised at $65,000. The car is all stock, except for the chrome rims, but I still have the original rims as well. It is stored in a dust-free plastic car storage bag with moisture control, and has just over 500 miles. If anyone is interested, you can call me at 608-235-0586. My health has been compromised, so if I don't get back to you right away, please understand. My email is scottmadwi@yahoo.com.
  2. This is the production information of the GT-C’s from the Ford window stickers. All 215 have dark charcoal leather. All 212 with the interior upgrade package have the satin aluminum panel. One was produced with a manual transmission, active anti-theft system, HID headlamps, and NO interior upgrade package with an MSRP of $30,755. 43 were produced with a manual transmission, interior upgrade package, active anti-theft system, and HID headlamps with an MSRP of $31,215. 2 were produced with a manual transmission, active anti-theft system, HID headlamps, Shaker 1000 audio system, and NO interior upgrade package with an MSRP of $32,050. 63 were produced with a manual transmission, interior upgrade package, active anti-theft system, HID headlamps, and Shaker 1000 audio system with an MSRP of $32,510. 2 were produced with an automatic transmission, interior upgrade package, active anti-theft system, HID headlamps, and Shaker 1000 audio system with an MSRP of $33,055. 102 were produced with a manual transmission, interior upgrade package, active anti-theft system, HID headlamps, and DVD navigation system with an MSRP of $33,210. 2 were produced with an automatic transmission, interior upgrade package, active anti-theft system, HID headlamps, and DVD navigation system with an MSRP of $33,755.
  3. Thanks! Your car, 08SGT0096, was the 41st produced by VIN. Interestingly, it was originally sold to the same dealer mine was, Chino Hills Ford. It is one of 102 produced with a manual transmission and a navigation system. I also have PDF files of all the GT-C window stickers from Ford. Your car had an MSRP of $33,210 from Ford.
  4. It’s nice to see people still active with this forum! Here are a few interesting facts about the GT-C’s. The earliest production car to leave Dearborn and be shipped to Las Vegas for its GT-C package was 08SGT0180, VIN 1ZVHT82H385100343, with an MSRP of $33,210. The latest production car to leave Dearborn and be shipped to Las Vegas for its GT-C package was 08SGT0086, VIN 1ZVHT82H985103859, with an MSRP of $33,210. The order of GT-C transformation does not match the order of factory production. My car, 08SGT0172, was the 145th in order of factory production. 08SGT0128 was the 97th in order of factory production. I also found out that one of the four automatic GT-C’s was sold by its original owner, exported from LA, and imported to Thailand. It was one of the two cars with the Shaker 1000 Audio System. That car is 08SGT0181. To the best of my knowledge, the other automatic/Shaker 1000 car (08SGT0043) is still with its original owner in Nipomo, CA (last known to have 2,798 miles), and the other automatic/navigation car (08SGT0139) is with its second owner in Indio, CA (last known to have 28,807 miles). My automatic/navigation car (08SGT0172) is resting for the winter in Wisconsin, the coldest winter we’ve had, by the way, since 1976!
  5. Don't feel too bad. That car was in an accident in January of 2009. That, and the miles, are affecting it's value.
  6. I purchased them through a Ford dealer. They are the same as the stock Shelby rim, except in show chrome. They were available as an option in 2008 on the Mustang GT for $1,185, but cost much more through Ford parts!
  7. #46 was originally sold to Larry Green Ford in southern CA, but ended up at Go Ford West in Wheat Ridge, CO, and was registered by its first owner in Golden, CO. It is the only one I know of in CO, but there was another one registered in WY when new...#176 in Casper, WY on 6/5/08. That is pretty amazing that you happened to be at the same show! At least your cars were not identical. You have the Shaker 1000, and that car has the Navigation instead. The 5-speed GT-C's with the Shaker 1000 are more rare than those with the Navigation!
  8. I just changed the signature photo. Factory chrome wheels (64A) were installed on the GT-C on June 14th. Does anyone have thoughts on painting the calipers grabber orange? Has anyone done that and like it?
  9. The Interior Upgrade Package includes a bright polished 6 gauge instrument cluster with the My Color feature (adds 2 gauges), a bright shift knob, satin register vents, satin aluminum spokes on the steering wheel, satin aluminum door latches, a door scuff plate, a message center (computer with average speed, average fuel consumption, instantaneous fuel consumption and range for remaining fuel), a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Dark Charcoal Aberdeen pattern front door panel inserts, and either the Satin Aluminum Instrument Panel Appliqué or the Woven Charcoal Aluminum Instrument Panel Appliqué with a Ribbed Pattern. All of the GT-C’s with the Interior Upgrade Package have the Satin Aluminum Instrument Panel Appliqué. Actually, 3 GT-C’s were produced without the Interior Upgrade Package.
  10. I think I have posted this before, but will do so again, since there has been discussion about production information on the GT-C. There were only 215 produced in all. 08SGT0001 and 08SGT0002 were not used on a car. 08SGT0218 begins the run of Vista Blue cars. (I own one of these, 08SGT0172) All 215 have dark charcoal leather. All 212 with the interior upgrade package have the satin aluminum panel.
  11. 4 automatics were produced, 2 with navigation, and 2 with shaker 1000... my car is one of the 2 with navigation...the other of that 2 was leased, modified, and sold at auction with around 22,000 miles... my car has 487 miles, and is one of the rarest Shelbys ever produced... I've received many emails inquiring about purchasing this car. The car will not be sold for less than $100,000. I don't need the money, and I love the car!
  12. I do have PDF files of all GO window stickers if anyone ever needs one!
