He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! Carroll Shelby (Team Shelby Member #001) said: "We built Team Shelby for anyone who is passionate about Shelby cars! We’ll have a blast and we'll do it the Shelby way!   Yearly Membership Rates   U.S. $49.99 | Canada & Mexico $59.99 | E.U., others $65.99   Join the Team Shelby Club   click here to choose a Team Shelby Club subscription package.   Membership Kit Arrival   Your Team Shelby Club membership kit and I.D.card will generally arrive within 6-8 weeks.   Need Help?   Email Brianna:  e-mail her here.

  1. Post up if you're interested in joining us for our annual Team Shelby – Pacific Coast Region Christmas cruise. We’ve done this run for the past several years and had a great time. Our planned route is a 44 mile run from Saratoga to the Half Moon Bay area for lunch at the popular Moss Beach Distillery https://www.mossbeachdistillery.com . This event will again include a stop at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford to drop off toys, gift cards or donations. Join us for a great cause and what will most likely be the last local cruise of the season. Although we're hoping for a normal rainy season, keep your fingers crossed for fair weather on December 1st - as the event is rain or shine. For ease of editing, I’ll maintain the roster of members attending in post #2 below. For an accurate head count, please note if you are +1, +2 and so on. See you then! Any question, please ask here, or email me at svtnaja.tspcr@gmail.com and I'll get back to you. Best, Jim Here is where we'll be meeting in Saratoga. Let's plan on arriving around 9:15am and we'll head out at 9:45am. 14400 Big Basin Way, Saratoga, CA 95070 (behind the 76 Gas Station). There's a Starbucks across the street! Here are the Google satellite and street view images of this location: https://www.google.com/maps/@37.259308,-122.031925,130m/data=!3m1!1e3 https://www.google.com/maps/@37.2592138,-122.0317954,3a,75y,304.85h,90t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s_WWwSdiun0mdSsxP4Q7bMQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Here’s a Google map of the route we’ll be taking, unless it’s dry and we go “over the hill” at Alice’s: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/14400+Big+Basin+Way,+Saratoga,+CA+95070/725+Welch+Rd,+Palo+Alto,+CA+94304/Half+Moon+Bay+Brewing+Company,+Capistrano+Road,+Half+Moon+Bay,+CA/@37.3856097,-122.2463528,11z/data=!4m20!4m19!1m5!1m1!1s0x808e4adde1ea29c1:0xcbf883f925012386!2m2!1d-122.0324004!2d37.2590442!1m5!1m1!1s0x808fa4cd4e3e1f87:0xf4b041eef2dcbd56!2m2!1d-122.1751231!2d37.4359889!1m5!1m1!1s0x808f73c9e4a3a8fb:0x109fb63e3248bba7!2m2!1d-122.485562!2d37.504067!3e0 Here’s a video from last year’s Christmas cruise (thanks Mike!):
  2. Mike, I'll meet you at Sears just before 8am to get the Conga line started. Thanks. Jim
  3. John, Yes, that's correct. Unwrapped gifts and gift cards so the LPCHS staff can provide appropriate gifts for their patients. See you this Saturday morning in Saratoga! Best, Jim
  4. Mike, I'll meet you all at Sears SunValley Mall in Concord off Willow Pass Road on Saturday at 8am. Thanks.
  5. Harald, Thank you for your generous donation to the LPCHS! Next year we'll need to coordinate schedules so you and Glenda can join us. In the meantime, I'll post you as an "Honorary" cruiser with the rest of our TS-PCR crew. Best, Jim PS: Chief - Thank you for all you did in your career protecting lives and continue to do training future fire fighters! The Paradise tragedy reminds us again how much we'll need brave young men and women on the front lines well into the future.
  6. All, I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! It looks like we have another great group of enthusiasts signed up for our annual charity cruise to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, followed by a tasty lunch at the Moss Beach Distillery. I look forward to seeing all of you a week from this Saturday in Saratoga! Best, Jim

  9. With summer just over a month away, it’s time to post-up notice of “Snakes at the Lake” – 2018, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 30th. As in years past, our current plan has us departing Old Town Sacramento and cruising up Highway 50 through the Sierras as we make our way to the lake. We’ll stop briefly for fuel and a rest break at the Chevron station in Meyers and stage at the golf course parking lot across the way where members from Nevada will meet us. Then we’ll head up scenic Highway 89 on the west side of the lake past Emerald Bay, the Rubicon and Sunnyside areas towards Tahoe Vista on the north shore, where we’re making arrangements again for a relaxing day enjoying a BBQ and Car Show. For a glimpse of previous SATL’s, check out our YouTube videos below. RSVP’s and pre-payment are required for this event so we can anticipate required parking and determine how many meals will be needed. Please use the GoFundMe link below to facilitate this transaction. When your payment is confirmed, this will be noted on the roster below. After accounting for expenses, any funds left over will be donated to the Carroll Shelby Foundation http://www.shelby.com/?topic=csf so extra donations are welcomed ;-) Cost for attending the event is: $40 per driver/vehicle, which includes NTPUD facility rental and parking fee, BBQ lunch and cold refreshments. $10 for each additional guest to cover BBQ lunch and cold refreshments. Payment Link: https://www.gofundme.com/9th-annual-snakes-at-the-lake Reservations are requested by no later than Sunday June 24th. Available parking slots are limited this year. This event is rain or shine and payments are non-refundable. So mark your calendars and post-up if you’re interested in joining us for a great day on the road and at the lake with other “Powered by Ford” enthusiasts. Note: For ease of editing, I’ll maintain the list of SATL-9 attendees in Post #2 immediately below. Here’s the address where we’ll be meeting in Old Town Sac. Front and 101 K Streets, Sacramento, CA 95814
Let’s plan on arriving around 7:45am and we’ll head out about 8:30am. Note: We’ll be at Steamers on the corner to process your registrations (and get a morning caffeine fix ;-) Here is a Google satellite street view image of this OTS location: https://www.google.com/maps/place/101+K+St,+Sacramento,+CA+95814/@38.582367,-121.505941,107m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x809ad6cd2012a8a7:0xf3fc163e680cbfbd!8m2!3d38.5825849!4d-121.5056456 Here is a Google map of the route we’ll be taking to Tahoe Vista: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/1051+Front+St,+Sacramento,+CA+95814/Meyers,+CA/Tahoe+City,+CA/Tahoe+Vista,+CA/@38.9053363,-121.0288554,109745m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m26!4m25!1m5!1m1!1s0x809ad6cce216d68b:0x4866b807b3c534ab!2m2!1d-121.5058157!2d38.5825905!1m5!1m1!1s0x80998dd10cb46911:0x9a6aa0d06b4f0a29!2m2!1d-120.013057!2d38.8561066!1m5!1m1!1s0x809bd62ecf1fa721:0x2a98b230816c9ed1!2m2!1d-120.1762494!2d39.1446803!1m5!1m1!1s0x8099635d7160f8ff:0x21748cb6024cfee4!2m2!1d-120.0510249!2d39.2399068!3e0?hl=en Here is a link that may be helpful if you are looking to book a room in Tahoe Saturday night: http://www.tahoesbest.com/hotels_resorts Also, some members are planning to stay at the Ritz-Carlton at Northstar: http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/california/lake-tahoe Any question, please ask here or email me at svtnaja.tspcr@gmail.com See you on Saturday June 30th in Old Town Sacramento! Here’s our SATL videos from 2016 and 2015:
  10. TS-PCR wants to thank everyone who came out and supported Snakes at the Lake - 2018. We hope you had a great time and enjoyed the cruise, car show and BBQ. We're already looking forward to SATL-10 which is scheduled for Saturday June 22nd, 2019. Our event photographer Ray captured some great pictures of "Snakes" in Old Town Sac and Tahoe Vista as seen here: https://www.facebook.com/mudvillephotographymvp/photos/a.1138953072909810.1073741891.322106214594504/1138953096243141/?type=3&theater You are welcome to download any picture you wish, but please "like" his Facebook page if you do so. Best, Jim
  11. For info regarding SATL-9, please follow the link below. Join us for a great day on the road in the Sierras and at Lake Tahoe. See you on June 30th in Old Town Sacramento!
  12. Sy, We'll be in the same place at the Tahoe Vista boat launch parking facility where you joined us in 2015 or 16. Just park near the BBQ's on National and that will save you the trip down/up the parking lot. We'll arrive about noon and get the chow line open 30-45 minutes later. If you can, please join us for lunch! Best, Jim
  13. I want to shout out a big "THANK YOU" to the Carroll Shelby Foundation http://www.carrollshelbymerchandise.com/foundation_store for some great raffle prizes they have shipped to us for distribution at Snakes at the Lake - 2018.
  14. Bruce, Just a thought. If you have Jill's contact info you might reach out to her and find out who did her aerial photography. It may well be a friend who lives up off of Hwy 49 in the Grass Valley / Nevada City area and who might be interested... Jim
  15. Bruce, I've been trying to find a drone photographer - but no luck so far. We'll have an official photographer for SATL-9, but he doesn't have a drone. Maybe we can ask/see who will be shooting video and then try to get thumb drive copies and weave them into an event YouTube. I'm open to suggestions... Best, Jim
  16. Post your "Screen Name" and location on this map using a colored marker pin that matches your vehicle! http://bit.ly/1kEVWyi This will help us to know where everyone is located when planning activities and events for Team Shelby - Pacific Coast Region members. Some directions... Go to the "Additions" tab and select "Add Marker - Simple". Enter your "Screen Name", Location and then choose your Marker pin color. Click preview to see your marker location and pin color. Hover your cursor over the marker pin to reveal your Screen Name. If everything is correct, then click "Submit". I used yellow for my 2013 SBY Boss 302 LS. Also, for security purposes, I suggest that you only identify your city or general location - NOT YOUR ACTUAL ADDRESS.
  17. Bruce, Jill really outdid herself this year. What a great turnout of VW enthusiasts! This drone shot at the Donner Lake overlook is really fantastic. From what I understand, this is where CA members meet NV members and start their cruise over to and around Lake Tahoe. Next year, we'll be back on the same schedule and can look forward to passing all of the Beetles on the West Shore between Emerald Bay and Tahoe City. We'll see you and the C&C crew at the Scott Road E/B Hwy 50 onramp this Saturday morning about 9:00am. I'll call you and Rick when we pass Sunrise. Best, Jim
  18. Karun, I saw that the other day and made a change to your reservation on the roster. See you 2 this Saturday! Best, Jim
  19. Mike, No problem. Seems everyone is busy these days. I know I am... Yes, I expect to be arriving in Cordelia about 6:30am to top off at the Chevron station. I'd like to head out soon after that for Old Town Sacramento so we can arrive a bit early and get a jump on registration. My goal is to be wheels up from OTS at 8:30am. See you this Saturday! Best, Jim
  20. Doug, PM sent... Best, Jim
  21. Karun, It's great to have you back with us again this year! See you in OTS on Saturday, June 30th. Best, Jim
  22. Andy, 10-4... I'll post up the details next week, but I want to move things up 15 minutes this year so we get out of OTS by 8:30am. Ultimately, I want to get past Tahoe City before the lunch hour starts and into Tahoe Vista by noon. Best, Jim
  23. Andy, It's great that your schedule worked out this year! Looking forward to having the 2 of you (and Marty, your partner in crime) along with us for SATL-9. Are you heading up to OTS on Friday, or meeting me in Concord early Saturday? Best, Jim
  24. OK, so we're less than 2 weeks away from SATL-9 and we've had a great response so far with over 70 cars and just as many guests signed up. There are now less than 10 spaces available to reserve and registration closes next week. Weather forecast for Tahoe on the 30th looks great in the mid-70's. If you plan on joining us for a great day on the road to the Sierras and at the lake, it's time to get signed up! Here is the registration link: https://www.gofundme.com/9th-annual-snakes-at-the-lake Any question, please email me at: svtnaja.tspcr@gmail.com
