  1. I recently installed a TVS 2.3L supercharger on my 2011 and now the fuel line that goes over the top of the supercharger is resting directly on the top of the supercharger where before with the smaller supercharger there was about a 1/2" gap between the two. Is this a problem or risk of high heat in direct contact with the line? Also when I reinstalled the fuel rail, all of the injectors went in smoothly and I was waiting for some sort of snap or click which did not occur. Should they "lock" in place or just slide in like they did? Thanks very much!!
  2. Nope!! I have an 11 with a VMP TVS and am already making more horses than a 13. I know it's not all about horses, but if I was going to upgrade I would wait until 2014 after Ford has a year to deal with all the new issues on the 2013. 2014 will be 2013 but with all the bugs worked out.
  3. If I am understanding all the numbers correctly, a 2011 SVT GT500 with a 2.3 TVS supercharger and tune from VMP will still produce more HP and torque than a stock 2013 SVT GT500. I do like the upgraded cooling, suspension, and new launch control. I am just going to wait for the 2015 and the next generation of changes. I heard 2013 and 2014 will be exactly the same due to the major 2015 changes..
  4. I was under the impression that I could not simply buy all 19's or all 20's due to the 3.73 gear ratio, the lower front end, and the Brembo brake clearance? Not sure if this is accurate or not but I would hope there was some logic in Ford making this decision?
  5. Are there ANY tires that I can buy for my car except the same OEM Goodyear F1 Supercar tires without modifying or changing anything on the vehicle or the wheels? I have looked everywhere and every brand and can't seem to find any. Just wondering if I am missing something. Thank you.
  6. What does that exhaust sound like compared to the stock '11 GT500 exhaust? I am looking for louder! Thanks.
  7. Thanks a lot. I will do that for sure.
  8. Great advice. I can't believe how much help is available on these forums. This is great. Thank you!
  9. I appreciate it. Thank you very much.
  10. Thank you very much. I will try it this way.
  11. I have been reading about the low-speed "moaning" from 2011 GT500's and the overall solution to the problem seems to be adding friction modifier to the rear differential. Can someone tell me how to do this? Pictures are even better if possible. Thank you very much.
  12. Thanks very much. I have been trying to locate them online and can't find a website. Do you have any information on them?
  13. Thanks Mike. That's actually the exact thing a shop here in town told me as well. Looks like you added a lot of Shelby components to your ride. I only live 300 miles from Las Vegas and I am thinking of having work done at Shelby there because I can't seem to find a shop in Arizona that I trust. I saw that Ford Racing has a new 750 HP power upgrade package, but it's like $6,200. The local Ford dealer here has a performance shop attached to it, and they told me they can install it but have not done one yet. Then they said when it's all done, if the check engine light does not come on then it will work! Not the best confidence builder for sure!! I want to see if Shelby can do a "partial" Super Snake. Ever heard of that being done? Maybe just 750 Supercharger, tune, and suspension? I can't see spending over $30,000 for the full deal. Any advice on that? Thanks again, Matt.
  14. I have a 2011 GT500 with the SVTPP. I am not ready (yet) to go all out with a 750 HP supercharger upgrade, but have heard that a 2.59" pulley swap, idler, tune, and lower control arms, is a good place to start. I was also told to get a dual fan (AFCO) cooling upgrade. I want to know if I am being steered in the right direction. I am looking for more power and less wheel hop and unpredictability on the rear end. Finally, I heard about an intake resonator delete to hear the supercharger whine more. Good idea? Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
