He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! 1. Replacement Parts

The contact back in February was Kameron Hymer, Kameronh@ShelbyAmerican.com (702) 405-3500. When I contacted them about the front splitter, it was $227.75 unfinished but due to the odd size, freight was around $125.
  2. Shelby oil separator

What is the status for an oil separator for the 5.0?
  3. any update on the cold air intake??
  4. I have heard a number around 175 that were built.
  5. Torsen rearend info

Very interesting. I have wondered myself about the difference. Thanks for posting.
  6. rear wheel torque

I can not speak for the 625 hp version but I had my car (525 hp) dyno'd at SA at 447 hp and 387 ft-lbs.
  7. Shelby installed the 'Carroll Shelby" decal on the front of the cover.
  8. 3rd Mod

There have been 5 GT350 delivered with short throw shifters - I am not sure which group installed them in Vegas. According to Steve Mansell, they are using the Barton shifters in the 350. This decision was based on testing several different shifters. They have 50 shifters on back order as of last Friday at a cost of $575.
  9. Shifter?

I did not ask Steve which shop installed the shifters but the shifters intalled in the 5 cars are 2011. You use the stock shifter handle or order the polished spacer & white cue ball. I think this is an extra $60 for the kit.
  10. Shifter?

I spoke with Steve Mansell with Shelby concerning the shifters. To date, they have installed 5 shifters in the GT 350 for customers at a cost of $575. They have another 50 shifters on backover. The shifters they are using are Barton. According to Steve, they tested several different shifters and thought the Barton was the best shifter for the GT 350. AmericanMuscle has the shifter in stock for $300 or the shifter & shifter bracket for $350.
  11. gt350

Warren, Who made the CAI that you installed? I have been looking? Thanks, Tom
  12. MM&FF GT350 1/4 mile test

Warren upgrade for horsepower was discussed in the mods section a couple of weeks ago. If I did everything correctly. the link is below http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?/topic/66348-5th-modnext-level/
  13. GT350 for a KR?

Actually, if Shelby does not change their current plans, there will be fewer GT 350 (2011: ~200 & 2012: 350) produced than KR's. CHICAGO – Feb. 9, 2011 – Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK) today introduced the limited edition 2012 Shelby GT350 during the Chicago Auto Show, being held at the McCormick Place complex. A convertible, the first since 1970, and two new body colors (red and blue) will be options for the 2012 model year. In addition, a limited production of 350 total 2012 Shelby GT350s will be built. No matter how many 350's produced, they are awesome cars.
  14. Delays in 2011 GT 350 deliveries

The car is worth the wait. You will be totally impressed once you start it for the first time.
  15. Painted Stripes

If that is the case, I may have a hybrid stripe theme going on. The stripes are painted on the facias, hood, trunk & roof while it appears the side stripes are decals. I say this because there is no ridge going from the white to the stripes on these parts while I can feel the ridge between the paint & the side stripes or Shelby did not put any clearcoat over the side stripes.
