  1. You may have already noticed, but your mirror attachment has two pivot points. You should be able to adjust the attachment rod up at the pivot point near the windshield, then tilt the mirror at the other pivot point for the proper view. My attachment rod angled downward when I bought the car and this adjustment helped. I raised it even more when I mounted my radar detector using the Flush Mount system.

  5. Jim, Thanks for all of that information. That's exactly what I needed to hear. My wheels haven't even been out of the box, nor has the Shelby Watts Link I bought during the summer sale. Now I just need to decide if I will lower it. I'm also considering adding 2013/14 rear rotors (14") to make it look better. With the Alcoas. Thanks again! Chuck
  6. Jim, did you have a set of 9's or 10'S widened, and what brand of tire are you running? I'm considering doing the same thing, but I want to be sure I won't have any clearance issues. Lastly, is your car lowered? Thanks! Chuck

  8. I put mine on a week ago last Friday. The next day I drove 260 miles, including some "parade laps" at a road course (several opportunities for wot on the straightaways, breaking 100mph). I estimate about half a teaspoon of oil collected. I'm very happy with my purchase and don't agree with any of Tucker's claims or tactics (been holding that in for a while...lol).
  9. Acroholic, I think your car looks great with those wheels and tire sizes. The larger tires on the rear seem to take up the extra wheel well space very nicely. I too am interested in hearing how the clearance is on stock suspension and if the 295's result in any rubbing. Please keep us posted! Again, VERY NICE!!!
  10. Thanks for the update! I'm still in the researching (reading, guessing and asking) phase. Last year at this time our temps were in the upper 70s and low 80s. This year upper 20s and low 30s. I still have some time before getting mine out since mid November. Even then I may want to see some in person before I make the purchase. I don't really want to be experimenting with $1500 worth of tires!

  13. Klastinger, I saw your new pics in the gallery. Thanks for posting them. I really like the way the 275s and 295s fit on the 9" and 10" wheels. Now I just have to finish my long wait for spring so I can get mine.
