  1. Guys, I haven't been around much lately, but I do stop in occasionally to read some posts. I had a '14 Sterling Gray GT500 for sale on this site a couple of years ago. I am now considering buying another one. The question posed here of value in my humble opinion is that prices should go down some. Not due to the 2020 GT500, but because the 5 yr/50,000 mile warranty on these cars is dropping off. I am looking at asking prices in the 45-50+ grand range on a car that has NO warranty at all, and that has kept me on the sidelines. I'm just not sure I want to roll the dice at the prices I am seeing. JMO...
  2. Here is a link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Mustang-Shelby-GT500KR-/121959959364?forcerrptr=true&hash=item1c65614b44:g:yVMAAOSwGOxW~0LV&item=121959959364 A triple black 2008 KR car on Ebay. Guy has the Buy It Now price down to $41,980, with 28 people watching. Does anyone know this car? That sure seems like an extremely low price considering how others are currently priced. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with it. Could it be the color? I do not have any experience with the black KRs, so I do not know how well they sell... Steve
  3. Guys, does anyone know if the addition of an oil separator/catch can like Bob sells will void the Ford factory warranty on my '14 GT500? I have a friend with a newer F150, and he says he read that adding the device will void his Ford factory warranty... Steve
  4. Hey guys, sure am sorry I ever placed my ad on this site. Got called a liar from by one guy, and told I have no class by another. I thank everyone who had a positive remark concerning my post, but I am out of here, and won't be returning to this site. I have better things to do with my time that do not include being insulted. BTW dude, you couldn't be further from the truth. I'm not bitter toward anyone but you, and you seem to be pretty darned bitter yourself there guy. Anyway, let's get one final thing straight...the language I used, which I have apologized for was directed at you, and no one else on this site. Like I said earlier, not real keen on being called a liar. Where I come from those are fighting words. But you go ahead and flap your gums some more. I'm sure you will. But I will never see it. Steve
  5. Sorry if I offended you ViperNC, or anyone else. Admittedly lost my cool. Just not really crazy about someone calling me a liar. Or is that ok on this site? Just asking...
  6. Keep running your mouth ass hole! You are precisely the reason I have a problem being a member of these sites. Never a positive comment. Always trying to put people down. Calling someone a liar, when you have no idea what you are talking about just shows everyone your ignorance. Now F**k off troll...
  7. BikeBoy, I think you have some folks confused. I sure am. Mine is still for sale, so what did you buy? BTW, kxbyrns0mj72h53 - Oh yes, the bid was $49,500 wise ass! INDEED!!! Now why don't you go bother someone who gives a s**t what you think...
  8. You are welcome BikeBoy. Congrats! What color? Hey dude, not sure about the attitude. Ever see one with 500 miles and factory warranties? Turned down $49,500 from a dealer! It'll sell to the right person. Obviously YOU are not one of them. Thank God! Now I'll forget about you...
  9. BIKEBOY, the listing ran out on Friday afternoon. Seems no one wants to pony up for basically a new car! I thought I might have good luck selling since the 1st offer was for $49,500 from a dealer. I will sell for what I have in it...$52,000. I know that sounds like a lot, but I paid a couple of grand extra because it has the Ford factory warranties. Steve
  10. Car is silver/blue stripes. Has 588 miles, and was titled for the 1st time in June 2014, so most of the Ford factory warranties remain. Like new inside and out. #332 in the KR registry. Asking $53,500. I tried to attached pictures, but they are all to large. If interested the car can be seen on Ebay. Thanks! Steve Kuhn (309) 663-8012
  11. Thanks 08KR525! Showing my ingnorance here, but what is a TVS? And does it nulify the factory warranty?
  12. Hey guys, I want to thank you all for helping me get a wheel for my 2008 KR. I had several very nice offers. I replaced the damaged wheel just yesterday. Went to ballance the tire, and found it has a flat spot on it. Since it set for a long period of time without being driven (just started occasionally) they are all probably the same. I'll replace the tires some time, but since they ony have 122 miles on them they will do for now. Just get a little vibration whe I get up between 80 and 90 mph... Buy the way, my name is Steve Kuhn, and I live in Bloomington Ilinois. I did have an '07 GT500 (Vista Blue/white stripes), but let it go when I discovered Ford was going to continue making them for some time. So, I looked at all of the current "muscle cars" (I like them all) to see if I could find one that not everyone could have. Well, the 2008 KR was it! Production limited to 1,000 units for the 40th anniversary. All of my buds were saying "wait until the 2013 GT500 comes out with 650 HP!!!" But I told them, you just don't get it. For me, I would rather have a very powerful ride that few people can own, vs one more powerfull, but anyone can own. I have to admit that I am a little surprised there are sooooooo many KRs for sale! However, I am also pleased because I got my 60 mile KR for half the price originally paid. :D I also have a '69 Plymouth GTX that I drive (some) and show. All original, with #s matching drive train. 440, 4 speed, with Trac Pac (racing suspension). It has a lot of power, but the KR woudl kick its butt! . Steve
  13. Thanks for the information Joe. I'll check that out. Steve
  14. Guys, have been working with the Shelby team. They want $1,293.50 plus shipping for the one wheel. Does that price sound right??? Wow!!! Steve
  15. Thanks for the information guys. I certainly feel welcome here. Steve
