He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! 1. Signed airbag cover value?

Thanks, that's very helpful! I think with the miles on the car I will sell it with the airbag cover in it, should help to offset a little of the mileage. Thanks again for your response!
  2. Wanted to get some opinions on the value of a signed airbag cover that's in my 2007 GT-H. I installed it in the car when I first bought it and now that I am getting ready to sell the car I'm trying to figure out whether I should sell the cover independently. The car has 55,000 miles on it, so being a higher mileage car my thought is that the signed airbag cover will bring more if sold separately. I have seen them offered on Ebay for $2500, which seems like a pure fantasy number so I was hoping some of you would share your thoughts before I list the car. The car is 07H-333 and it will be in the classified here as well as Ebay once I figure out everything. Thanks in advance for your feedback, I'm expecting to list the car in the low 30s. Thanks again, it's a great group of owners here and it's my hope to stay in the Shelby stable once I figure out what the next purchase will be!
  3. Gt-H Floor Mats

Good afternoon, I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a set of original GT-H floor mats. I just bought a pair off of EBay and was surprised to find the the lettering was a patch as opposed to being embroidered on to the mat like other Shelby mats that I have owned. Mats I received are not what I was expecting and wil be back on EBay, but I was just curious if what I bought was the real deal or a raw deal. Thanks!
  4. Is this a fake CS signature?

I had the same reservations when I bought mine from EBAY a couple of months back. Adding to my trepidation was the fact that it was a foreign seller. Fortunately when I reached out to the seller it turned out that he was one of a handful of Shelby enthusiats on the UK who also has a restoration shop. Found out that my cover came off of 06GT-H488 and found an overseas friend in the process. I attachd a photo of my airbag and couldn't agree more with tesgt350 about some of the differences on some of Mr Shelby's signatures due to issues such as fatigue. Trusting your gut and reaching out to the seller will go a long way in easing your fears. On a side note, the seller of my airbag cover has a website; dragonwheelsrestoration.uk which is worth a visit if want to see what some talented restorers are doing with American Muscle cars across the pond. 5. Ponte Vedra Auto Show Sept 15

Let me know if you decide to stop by, it would be great to get a pictures of the cars together. I'm also planning on getting up to Amelia for the show in October, hated missing that one last year. On a side note,we're also working on putting together a monthly beaches cruise in, drilling down on day/,time and location, I'll keep you posted on that as well. Paul
  6. Ponte Vedra Auto Show Sept 15

I know a few of you were at this event last year, they are limiting participation to 180 cars this year, down from 200. Here is the link, the show will be held Sept 15 from 10-4 at TPC Sawgrass, hope to see you there! http://pvautoshow.businesscatalyst.com/ Paul
  7. Congrats on the new ride, nice to have another 07GT-H in NE Florida!
  8. For those of you in the area surrounding NE Florida, there will be a show in the Outlet Store parking lot right next to Bozard Ford on May 18th. I found out about this today from one of the guys at Bozard when I was having the Shelby aligned. The gentlemen that handed me the flyer said they were expecting around 100 cars. Provided my son's lacrosse schedule allows for it I will be there. Here is the link to the club's website where you can find all of the details for the show. http://jmcmustang.net/ The show chairman is Jim Rutz and his email is vicepresident@jmcmustang.org Paul CSM 07H333
  9. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I just bought one from another seller: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shelby-Mustang-Racer-Street-/140743990662?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D6573089979958398582%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D5%26sd%3D360382692612%26
  10. Best fix for falling rear window

He used a windshield epoxy to secure the window back to the top. It's a fix he's had tremendous success with as this is a common problem with later year vettes and Audis. I don't know the specifics of how he did the repair, I just know that it worked and saved me a chunk of cash
  11. Best fix for falling rear window

The Fix Is In!!! Finally found an auto upholstery guy that was willing to fix the top. Since I wasn't comfortable doing the fix myself, I was willing to search for someone who would repair a perfectly good top. Terry Brothers in Atlantic Beach, for you North Florida Shelby owners, did the repair for $120. He did a great job and told me what I already knew and no other shop would admit, my top is fine and has years of life, especially given that it's a weekend fair weather driver. Nice to know that there are still some old school guys left that will fix what needs to be fixed without sticking you with a larger bill than is neccesssary. The savings enabled me to treat the car to a new set of Nitto 555s! For anyone else with this notorious top issue, there is a fix that will save you in excess of $1000.
  12. Best fix for falling rear window

Uphosletry guys won't repair, estimates running betweem $1200-$1500 to rpelace. Have found a coupe of repair options on some of the Mustang forums and will explore those options and pick what I feel will be most effective. Figure I don't have anything to lose! Will report back when I have done the DIY fix.
  13. Shipping Shelby

Have shipped five cars, including my 07 GT-H, with Horseless Carriage and have never had anything less than a great experience. The GT-H came from California to me in Northeast FLA.
  14. Apologize if this topic has already been covered. I noticed the other day that my rear window has begun to separate from the convertible top and I wanted to see what others who have already dealt with this have found to be the most effective fix. Thanks in advance for everyone's help! Paul
  15. Bridgehampton Race Track

Thanks for posting, used to have a house in Mattituck and spent a lot of time on the South Fork, some great cruising to be done out there!
