  1. I do have to ask. Is it a real 427 or more of a "Tribute" 427? I thought I remember seeing a 427 package for sale on eBay or Here maybe a few months ago.
  2. Is the 700hp Shelby F-150 the same as the one that Tuscany posted a video on YouTube a few months ago?
  3. the smaller tank is half full, so that is what I am worried about to make sure what fluid is used. I had a new heat exchange replaced with the car. but forget what fluid they used, it was about a year ago. However the fluid in the tank looks like Motorcraft Premium Gold Engine Coolant due to the color. Or since that is like half fluid, I can just add little bit more Gold Coolant to it, and I will be fine?
  4. I recently received some new coolant expansion tank and overflow tank for my 08 GT500. This is the 1st time I have done something like that, so kinda worried about the fluid. I know the valve for the radiator is located, do I just drain that out. Then what do u use to flush the system? Water? Do I put water in both tanks or just one of them? Then drain that out? Once everything is drained, do I just replace the tanks, and add new fluid to the tanks then I will be good to go?
  5. You may need to look harder at the ad, the title clearly states Shelby Alcoa Style and in the product features and description of the wheel pages Shelby Alcoa Styling. Now you can have the elegant styling of the Shelby Alcoa Super Snake wheel for your very own late model S197 Mustang. Officially licensed though Shelby this Alcoa Style Super Snake wheel features a split 5 spoke design with the "Shelby" name embossed on the edge of the lip for an impressive appearance that will be sure to turn heads. Also the center caps has AmericanRacing on the cap, my guess is American Racing is making the wheels and using the Shelby name, like they are doing with the Razors.
  6. I was told the wheels were between 32-35lbs, depends on the finish of the wheel The wheels specs between the 05-14 and 15 are the same, probably just an issue they need to correct on the website
  7. they do, its is listed under the Spec Tab on the item page
  8. I just saw them today on the site, so probably was listed today or a few days ago. The center caps on the wheels is the same as the Razors and it says American Racing on the center caps.
  9. does anyone know why Ron Pratte is selling his collection? Is his business going bankrupt or something?
  10. not sure if anyone would be interested in a 19in form of the wheel, just saw this on AM site http://www.americanmuscle.com/shelby-charcoal-alcoa-19x85-0514.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/shelby-charcoal-alcoa-19x10-0514.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/shelby-black-alcoa-19x85-0514.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/shelby-black-alcoa-19x10-0514.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/shelby-chrome-alcoa-19x85-0514.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/shelby-chrome-alcoa-19x10-0514.html
  11. since these wheels has been out for a while now, has anyone purchase a set? how is the fitment?
  12. they do not announce everything they are bringing out, their new product page they bring out something out almost every week without any type of official announcement via email, facebook, youtube, twitter, etc... I only did just notice this the other day, so maybe they are updating the website still to reflect the changes, it may been updated more Monday once their office opens up again, and maybe the Gt500 wheel will be on their new product page .
  13. 14. heard on another site that a 07-09 Gt500 brace may be available, any truth to that? what would it look like?
  15. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/83761-new-taillights-mod/?hl=raxiom
  16. thank you for the link for the manual, I did not get that with the car
  17. I kinda wish I made mental notes when I test drove 3 others GT500s, but I test the others months apart, and I don't remember how the other cars acted if it is normal, guess just got to get use to the clutch, or do yall think I should have a local dealer check it out?
  18. not to long ago, picked up a 07 GT500 with about 18000 miles. This is my 1st GT500. Is it normal for the clutch to be somewhat heavy/tight? Also when I am going from a complete stop and pulling out in 1st, I get a chatter of some sort. Is there an issue with the clutch or am I just not use to the clutch yet?
  19. since you are part of the Performance PArts, any input on the fit and finish of the Supersnake hood?
  20. I need some people help. I want to get a hood for my 07 Gt500. Really debating about the Trufiber or the SuperSnake hood for my car. I know the SS is more compared to Trufiber hoods. IS there pros and cons of the hoods? How is the quality? anyone run into issues with the Trufiber hoods being ram air? Does the SS hood require the use of hood pins. etc.... thanks
  21. that table is pretty cool, really like the display area in the middle, may make a custom table and do that display thing to it
  22. Hey guys, I am a new member on this site....like a lot of Gt500s owner, I also want Razors as my wheels and I did read all 13 pages of this discussion. However the way you guys are acting is not friendly and kinda jerkish. Even if AmericanMuscle has the wheels in their stock or not.......if you try to do your "email blitz" or a call blitz and harass them or bullying them,.....you could jeopardize the possibility of Razors for the big brake Mustangs of ever returning and they could scrap the project. Even if they did have the wheels in their warehouse, they probably have a reason why it has not been released yet. So do not complain that no-one has common sense, they must have some sense because how long they have been in business and they are pretty successful. Bullying them to sell something that is not available yet will not do anything. If you guys didn't bother checking yet, they put some 20in Razors on their Black Friday sale, and they may add more on their Cyber Monday sale, so maybe they are trying to liquidate their inventory they have. Thanks Chad
