  1. Here is my 08 with 7k miles. Steeda 20" Wheels on Nitto Invo rubbers (315 wide rear) Steeda lowering springs and pan hard bar FRR CAI Corsa Sport Axle Back Steeda Short Shift SCT Tune Soon to add: Kooks LT Headers and catted X pipe (can't wait!!)
  2. anyone here have lead on someone looking to sell an audio kit? I want to upgrade my Shaker 500. I read the kicker kit is good. What I don't know is can I keep my Shaker 500 deck and install the rest of the kit...speakers, amp, subs. Anyone know? thanks
  3. I love my Corsa Sport AB. Huge improvement in sound over the FFR's I had. I am looking for a mid H pipe now. Any suggestions? I don't really want to upgrade headers though.
  4. I bought mine last July for 40k with 4k miles
  5. I get giddy when I fire up my 08 with Corsa Sport AB. Zippy drone. Nice decel burble. Awesome product I have barely used set of FFR AB for sale...make offer
  6. I need some better shots...or a better photographer. Here is my 08. It's have Steeda springs, wheels, short shift. Corsa Axle Backs. Ford Racing CAI. Nitto Envos and I am looking for help on changing the mid pipes. Also has a SCT Flash. JR
  7. Thanks Blue. Great info..very useful. I'm in the same boat with the sound deal. I LOVE the Corsas...but, I'd like a little more attitude. If you say normal driving is not overburdening sound wise, but it gets loud when you get on the throttle, I am fine with that. Glad to hear one persons feedback on the lack of a need to install headers to change out the mid pipe. Did you notice any performance gains? Beautiful ride BTW!
  8. Hey guys, I'm interested in learning more about what advantages I might enjoy by replacing the OEM H on my 08 GT500. I like deeper tones, so have ruled out the X pipe. This isn't a track car, just a new weekend driving obsession. I put on the Corsa Sport AB's recently and I'm thrilled with the more aggressive exhaust notes. A contact of mine at Steeda suggested a Kooks H Pipe. I just did some quick research and it appears they require their long tube headers. I don't think I want the overly aggressive sound that people tell me come with headers. But, maybe I'm not well enough informed. So, would the car sound much better with an aftermarket high flow catted H pipe? Would I get some performance (HP) gains in the low, mid, or high RPM ranges? And, do I necessarily have to install new headers to switch out the H pipe? Can't wait to hear from the experts here! Thanks, JR

I can tell you it's night and day improvement in the being able to let the monster http://youtu.be/sWGvBKICiNY. So happy..I think I made the right choice. I was super concerned with drone and read a lot on the forums - Corsa seemed to be the one option with most reviewers applauding their lack of drone. I was a little skeptical, but pulled the trigger. MUCH to my surprise the "no drone" claims are right a rain. Here is a sound clip from youtube Note, the rattle you hear in the first few seconds is my GoPro mount...it opens up around the 2:00 mark.
  10. Thanks everyone. Downside to this car is that I spend way to much time peeking into the garage!! The low mileage is super cool. Challenge I have now is keeping the miles off when it's so fun to drive. Today, I am installing (or, to be fair, having someone install) a Steeda CAI and lowering with Steeda springs. I can not WAIT to get it back. NOW...I am uber confused with what to do with exhaust. I am looking for a deeper throaty sound at idle and while driving "sporty" around town. I don't want (minimize as much as possible) drone at highway speeds. My kids and wife get carsick in my F150 with the after market MagnaFlows! Anyway, I am thinking about just going with Axle-Backs. I have a great contact at Steeda and he has two options to look at for AB - the Steeda and the MBPR. I was doing some additional research on this site and quickly became overhwhelmed with the feedback, reccommendations, configurations, manufacturer names etc..). Soo, anyone here have any pearls of wisdom?? I went with the Corsa XBack Sport set up and they are money! I was suspect about the no drone claims but they were spot on...and they sound mean! 11. Making my first visit here...love the photos! I am a new Shelby GT500 owner and I look forward to learning a lot more about my new fascination here on this site. I purchased this 2008 GT500 last month with 4k miles on it! New shoes and rubber came yesterday. I love the Steeda wheels and the wide 315s in the rear. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/48135113/Steeda%20Wheels.jpg
