Team Shelby Club 2018 Team Shelby Membership Kit Please note that membership contents are subject to change.   Team Shelby was designed and engineered by real enthusiasts inside and out of Shelby.   Team Shelby was originally formed in 2008 by Carroll Shelby. He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! Carroll Shelby (Team Shelby Member #001) said: "We built Team Shelby for anyone who is passionate about Shelby cars! We’ll have a blast and we'll do it the Shelby way!   Yearly Membership Rates   U.S. $49.99 | Canada & Mexico $59.99 | E.U., others $65.99   Join the Team Shelby Club   click here to choose a Team Shelby Club subscription package.   Membership Kit Arrival   Your Team Shelby Club membership kit and I.D.card will generally arrive within 6-8 weeks.   Need Help?   Email Brianna:  e-mail her here.

    Very cool!
  2. Tough decisions! Last month after returning from Sonoma, I faced a difficult decision. In the last two years owning #12 and babying it in every way possible, I have really caught the bug for the track. While my car is great for carshows and I know I have something special, I have not been willing (beyond a few passes on the drag or parade laps) had the courage to do any track time or really DRIVE my car the way I want to because I feel as if I do, I will hurt the collectibility of the car. My car is completely origional and now with just over 1,200 miles on it I don’t want that ever to change as its in perfect condition I need a car that holds both the history of Shelby and the values of this great group of people I have met over the last two years, but can also be something I can stomp on, modify at will, etc without feeling guilty about doing anything to devalue the car or impede on it’s collectibility. Unfortunately having two cars is not an option in my three car garage so Eventually (sometime soon) I am going to sell it and buy another GTH, 500 or Super Snake that I can race, modify, show etc so I will be in the market to buy another Mustang at the same time. I’m not writing this to sell my car now on this site. I am writing this post because I want everyone to know that the reason I bought my car, was never to sell it as I have mentioned many times on this site. That was never my intention ATALL. I bought it because I love the history of the car and I always wanted one. Now that I have it, my intentions for ownership have changed and I need a car that will fulfill all of my needs which include hard driving. I just can’t bring myself to ever do that in my 2016, limited executive 6-speed. I love this forum, the people I have met and this Shelby society and plan to be a part of it for years to come even while closing this chapter and starting a new one. So when you see #12 running at auction or advertised for sale, now you know the story behind it. Cheers!
  3. SAAC- 43 sonoma

I have a great video of us racing but no idea how to post a video. Even posting pictures is pretty difficult. I did post the video on Facebook. Team Shelby Pacific Coast page.

Awesome! We’re only staying tonight. Booked the courtyard a couple miles from embassy suites but closer to the track. Excited for drags tonight then tomorrow pretty chill, car show and parade Laps. Looking forward to meeting all of you. #11 and #12 GTH will be together for the first time since they were born in Vegas! Should be a blast.
  5. SAAC- 43 sonoma

Looks like embassy suites is a two night min to get the rates. We’re only staying Friday. Anyone have a lead on a hotel reasonable price with decent parking?
  6. SAAC- 43 sonoma

Looking more and more like 16h0011 and 0012 will be there. We are looking for some black helmets with gold stripes!
  7. SAAC- 43 sonoma

Sounds good. I’ll confirm before Sunday’s deadline. Is registration only for event entry or do I have to register spectators too like wife and kids if they go?
  8. SAAC- 43 sonoma

Trying to make schedule work. If all goes well I might be joined by the other 16 manual that resides in Cali. At least Saturday.
  9. SAAC- 43 sonoma

Anyone going? Aug 3-5 sonoma? Not seeing much chatter maybe I just missed.
