  1. I would love to see some Shelby/Shelby GT stuff. My biggest question re: merchandise is... Is it kosher to wear Shelby gear with the cobra snake on it if you don't own a Cobra? I don't like to wear stuff that might be "false" advertising. I see so much merchandise with the cobra on it but not sure I should be wearing it.
  2. I have looked on eBay for these type of collectibles and have been unable to find them. I'm interested, too, if anyone knows a source.
  3. Thanks for the info. So what would be the difference between the '67 SGT350 (that you said Shelby built) and the '67 SGT? And to clarify, the '84 and '15-'19 versions of the GT350 were not Shelby's?
  4. I have an 07SGT and have seen them listed as just SGT and SGT350. Are they one and the same or is there a difference between them? I don't refer to mine as the 350 because I have thought there was a difference. What exactly does the 350 represent? As someone fairly new to the Shelby community (I bought mine about a year ago), I know it is the 40th anniversary edition of the SGT, but there have been SGT350 editions before 1967. I would appreciate a history lesson on all this. I know you all have so much knowledge on these cars that I'll be fully informed after the discussion dies down! Thanks!
  5. Thanks for the replies. Will get the stripes off eBay.
  6. I'm talking about the "Shelby GT" lettering.
  7. I'm new to the Shelby world and glad to be a part of it. I have a couple questions that I bet can be answered here. 1. How can I get the trim and lettering that goes behind the front wheel? Mine is marred on one side and I would like to replace it. 2. Does anyone know how I can get the magazines that featured this car on the cover (I think) with the reviews? I think I saw a Car and Driver and maybe Road and Track? I looked on the magazine websites and really couldn't find a way to get old issues. I'm not even sure which month it would have been. I saw a photo of an 07SGT for sale online that had copies laying in the trunk, but that was months ago. That perked me up to try to find my own copies. Thanks for any help.
  8. Looks like the lettering is $50 and the template is $25. I'll probably get that done to bring it back to original. Thanks for the help. I'm new to all this. Bikeboy, That's a beautiful ride!
  9. I have attached a photo. As I said, I have seen other 07SGT with this style badge as opposed to the spread-out version. I am considering buying the other lettering and template available on this site to replace this badging.
  10. I just insured mine through Grundy for $439 a year. Less than 2500 annual miles driven, non-Daily driver and I gave them an insured value above what I paid for the car. I also live in rural OK so that probably cheapens it some.
  11. I tried to post a pic but the file was too big. I’m not real techy and couldn’t figure out how to downsize the file on my iPhone or MacBook. The letters are all within the stripes. Will continue to attempt to post a pic!
  12. Resurrecting an old thread, but new to the forum and the Shelby world! I now claim ownership of my first Shelby (and classic car, for that matter) #3678. Has 10710 miles. Automatic, black leather interior, so I think it is the upgrade, and has a shaker 1000. I have a question about the Shelby badge on the trunk lid. Mine, and I have seen others like it, has the SHELBY badge that barely stretches across the stripes. I can see the very faint outline of the letters (on the stripes, especially) where there was the spread-out lettering. Any reason the badging would have been changed? I have seen others online for sale that have the same "bunched" badge. Thanks for your help and I look forward to digging into the Shelby world some more!
