He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! 1. Odd bang under dash...

Is there anyone out there that has experienced a banging or tapping noise just under the center of the dashboard (above the vent panel with the 12v plug) that happens after starting the car for 6-8 times? I hear it often when I start my car after it has been sitting for a while. It is a consistent 6-8 taps. Anyone know what I mean??? Does anyone know of there is a way to remove that panel and look inside??? Thanks Dbmdude
  2. Is there any chance someone can answer the following: I assume the ECT and TSU are two different temp sensors in the 2010 Shelby GT500, so first question is can someone confirm or deny this assumption for me? Secondly, can someone confirm the location of the ECT for me? It "looks" like I see it in the picture below (red oval). Thirdly, do I read correctly here that the most common reason that one might get a P0118 error is that the sensor "sticks high" which would indicate replacement of the sensor is required? What are the chances that the harness is the issue? I get this Service Engine Soon P0118 once in a every 1-2 months. I have had it in freezing weather and hot weather (not sure if thats important to this conversation). Also please confirm for me that replacing the sensor requires engine coolant drain. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH Dbmdude - First Time Shelby GT500 owner and LOVING IT!!!
