Team Shelby Club 2019 Team Shelby Membership Kit Please note that membership contents are subject to change.   Team Shelby was designed and engineered by real enthusiasts inside and out of Shelby.   Team Shelby was originally formed in 2008 by Carroll Shelby. He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! 1. Hi Sharon,

In my haste to get Dearborn tickets, I made a couple of typos. First the car year is 2007. Secondly, and most importantly, Teresa's last name is Becker, not Bdecker as I typed. Thank you.

    Scott

  2. SS Hood Painted

That really looks great! Did you have to blend the paint into the fenders and front in order to match, or were you able to paint the hood with the exact color of the car? Scott
  3. This is a great one -- even if the car is a Shelby GT-H Scott GT-H Police Chase
  4. SS Style Bar For Verts

I have the CDC bar and am quite happy with it. As I recall, there was an issue with the convertible top chafing against the side of the light bar and CDC published a "fix" which essentially just entailed putting a tie wrap on each side to keep the top away from the bar. It's pretty easy to do and virtually invisible. The install is pretty easy, here is a link to the instructions: Light Bar Install That being said, if I had to do it over, I would get the two-tone bar here: MRT I think that one looks nicer. Scott
  5. Wheelcaps to replace SVT

This is what I put on mine -- they look great! Cobra Center Caps Scott
  6. Gear Shift knobs

    12 mm x 1.25 Scott
  7. Gear Shift knobs

Hey BlackSnake, What did you do, if anything, regarding the leather boot around the shift housing? I put one of these knobs on my car and the boot just sort of droops around the lever. Any suggestions on how to dress this up? Thank you, Scott
  8. While they're at it, will they be fixing the grammar in the first sentence of the certificate? Shouldn't it say "The Ford Performance Group and Ford Special Vehicle Team" certify ... instead of certifies? Or is "The Ford Performance Group and Ford Special Vehicle Team" a single entity? Just wondering.
  9. Ordered Dash Plaque

The dash plaque for the Shelby GT has the Shelby serial number (CSM) on it and not the VIN. It took about two months for my GT500 dash plaque to come in. Before mounting it on the dash, I sprayed it with about 4 or 5 light coats of Krylon Preserve It! with no running of the Sharpie. Scott
  10. 2007 GT500 production sequence

Production date: 5/25/06 #63 out of 2694 verts #7 out of 160 grabber orange verts VIN 195910 Scott
  11. Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but does replacing the mufflers require an engine tune, or can you just replace them with Corsas or Borlas and go? Thank you, Scott
  12. I ordered the Corsa's today based on the comments here. I can't wait to install them. The installation looks pretty straightforward, but if anyone has any tips for putting them on and getting them lined up, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks, Scott
  13. 2007 Shelby GT500 Build Numbers

Is there a Web site that we can order these from, or a number we can call? Thank you, Scott
  14. Group buy on J&M UCA and LCA's

How difficult of an install is this? Is it something the dealer would do for me? If so, roughly how much would it cost? If I can find someone in Northern Virginia who can install them, I'm in! Thank you, Scott
  15. shaker 1000

I have a Grabber Orange vert with the Shaker 1000. Purchased on August 3rd.
