  1. I have a friend who has the 2nd 427 engine ever built, it was the backup engine for the GT-40 sitting in the Shelby museum and he wants to sell it. Can anybody point him in the right direction on where to sell it and what he might get for it? Oh, it's still in the original box, never assembled. Thanks! Bad Snake
  2. I remodel car dealerships. Today I had "walk through" and they had 2 GT350's sitting on the showroom, neither of them could be sold because of the oil line. Why does it take so long to fix a oil line, it's been 2 months. BTW, both were marked 10K over MSRP and there was a 2000 Cobra R with 60 miles for sale on the floor too.
  3. I don't read this form everyday like I use to, guess I missed it.
  4. He's lucky he was able to stop and get out. http://www.autoblog.com/2016/08/02/ford-shelby-gt350-bursts-into-flames-120-mph/ Their are pictures on the Mustang Form but TS won't let me post them.
  5. I don't know if this has been posted yet, kinda interesting.......He's still making payments............ http://www.hotrod.com/articles/check-out-the-superswap-2012-shelby-that-looks-like-a-1967-mustang-fastback/
  6. That's very cute! Thanks for taking the time to share the story!
  7. Get your oil tested. It would be interesting to see if they did use the cheeper Pennzoil.
  8. I've got the same, love it! You must live at the bottom of the world, you're upside down.
  9. I didn't hear him say but does the exhaust note come through the speakers like the F150? Unless you uncap the headers can change the sound of the exhaust by punching a button? Just asking.
  10. Will it have an aluminum body?
  11. Don't worry about, I'm a contractor I've been called every name in the book. I "had" stock wheels and tires with on issues but I switched to widened Razors 10.5" with Nitto Inveo's, 20" x 295, "love" the look.
  12. mm, This is what I went with. The handling is "way" better that stock. I'm putting out 725hp but the tires still spin but not as bad. It looks way better too! Get's rid of the 4x4 look. It drops the rear 1.5" and 1" in the front, I think, I did it in '07 when I bought the car. You will need new stiffer lower control arms and an adjustable pan hard bar to center the tires. Super easy install, did it in my garage and yes you will need an alignment. http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-handlingpack-0714gt500.html?utm_content=Handling+-+Combo+Pack
  13. I see the OV-10 is getting used against ISIS. It was a great plane in Viet Nam. An F-15 cost $40,000 and hour to operate and the OV-10 is $1,000. http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/the-amazing-ov-10-bronco-was-never-allowed-to-meet-its-1695837367
  14. Agreed, I live close to Griot's here in Tacoma. I took my car into their detail garage and showed them the XXX Hardcore car wax, the detail guy was very impressed he wanted to know where I got it. http://www.chemicalguys.com/XXX_Hardcore_Carnauba_Paste_Wax_8_oz_p/wac_301.htm
  15. I was going to say if you did replace the wheels the "keepers" on the wheel studs need to be removed, but this isn't the case....Just a thought.
