Team Shelby Club 2018 Team Shelby Membership Kit Please note that membership contents are subject to change.   Team Shelby was designed and engineered by real enthusiasts inside and out of Shelby.   Team Shelby was originally formed in 2008 by Carroll Shelby. He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! 1. I agree definitely keep stripes, to me they finish the car off, and I would paint for sure. I’ve wanted to paint for many years, I’m just having a hard time trusting a shop to do it to my standards.
  2. I thought the 2008 with the updated pins didn’t have the issue? I’ll have to keep my eye on mine, I switched my stock ones to the upgraded like the 08 and thought I would be OK.
  3. Count me in if you guys go down this road, next spring or sooner works for me.
  4. I am subscribing to this, I’ve wanted to paint mine, but I’m hesitant because I don’t want a butcher job. Im just over the border in Western MA like you I would travel to get it done right.
  5. Selling Corral

So sorry to hear this, wishing you well.
  6. I counted 30 of the 2016 GT-H's for sale.

The New Automatic regular GT blows this away across the board, they waited too long to drop the prices. They had to enhance the GT350 because the GT was too close to its performance, it’s a Great time to be shopping for a Muscle Car!!!!
  7. Why No New England Shelby Meet?

    Great information!!!! Thank you!!
  8. Why No New England Shelby Meet?

It used to be at the annual Tasca event, but for a reason not known Tasca and Shelby do not have the same relationship today that they used too. At least that is how it appears from the outside. Others go to Carlisle, too far for me.
  9. If your brakes aren’t sold I will take them.  Let me know.

i looked it up I’m about 95 miles from you.  I live in Southwick MA.  I can PayPal money to secure the sale until we can meet up or I can pay cash when we meet up, either way works for me.

    Thank You!!

  10. Gt350R for GT350 price

Sounds like the person that traded it got jacked, the dealer made money for sure. Nice find!!!
  11. 2019 Super Snake

My only guess would be Dealerships that bought them, for the most part, haven’t sold the ones they have, they have been sitting at dealers for a long time. Also the SS has always been based off the GT500, they may be waiting for the release of the New GT500. After that release I bet the ones on dealer lots will have to be reduced $20-30K in order to sell them. Just guesses on my part, maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in.
  12. I counted 30 of the 2016 GT-H's for sale.

They should start moving at this point, I am sure you could haggle under $40K now.
  13. I counted 30 of the 2016 GT-H's for sale.

The current younger generation has zero interest in cars compared to those 40 and up, I do not see that changing. The ones that do have interest are more into the GTR/WRX type cars. Many of us grew up loving the old Muscle Cars, we now love the fact they reinvented the old designs. My 2 cents is demand will be no where near what it is now for 50 year old cars when our cars are the same age. If you are buying hoping so I think you are making a HUGE mistake. Drive them is what I say.
  14. I counted 30 of the 2016 GT-H's for sale.

Wow I thought at this price they would be gone rather quickly, they may end up going lower then $40K before they all finally sell.
  15. Shelby GT Salvage Value

Need more information, how many miles? What was the extent of the damage? Condition of interior? Personally I wouldn’t buy a salvage title car, but I’m thinking low to mid teens if all checks out OK.
