  1. Just got a txt from Chris - he said they are looking for 2009-2012, possibly a 2013 GT500. They are also looking for a 2013 V6 Mustang Hope someone is able to take advantage of this again. Page
  2. I posted a reply to my original thread on this - but it looks like ACT is looking for another GT-500. This time a 2010-11 car. They MAY be looking for a Mustang GT also, but I am not sure what year yet. My understanding is that this is a free deal. They would need the car for up to a week, They are located in Lancaster, Ca. From what I understand you can drop the car off there, or they can trailer it. You would need to speak to Chris for details/specifics. He says that including installation, this is about a $2000 freebie. If you are interested, or know someone who is, please contact Chris at cbernal@advancedclutch.com. They did this for another Team Shelby member a couple of months ago (earlier model). Again, sounds like a great deal - hopefully someone from here can take advantage of it. Take Care Page
  3. Figured I would post a reply here first. Sounds like they are looking for another GT500 - this time a 2010-11. They MAY be looking for a Mustang GT also, but I will have to find out what year. Any takers with a 2010-11 GT-500, same contact info as in the first post in this thread.
  4. Keep us posted. Hopefully it works out very well for ya Page
  5. I would take either one Heck, at this point I would even take a Mustang GT (2005 or later)
  6. Hey there, LONG time since I have posted (no more Mustangs) Anyway, I have a friend who works for Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT). They are looking for a 2007-2010 GT500 to install a new clutch they have developed for the car. Sounds like a great deal - hopefully someone from here can take advantage of it. Take Care Page
  7. Good news…… I just spoke with the Saddleback Mustang Association Treasurer - You can register for the $25 as long as the club receives your entry form by no later than Friday the 11th (this Friday). Day of show registration is $40. AND There will be no Day Of Show class this year. All cars will end up in their own class no matter when they registered. So, get your entries in now
  8. Hey there, Havent posted much here in a while - read this thread and figured I would toss in my $.02 While the QM show isnt about Jon - you will have to tell him that. I had a run in recenly with Jon (who I have known for probably 5 years). He tends to think that the Mustang world revolves around him and that others should bow down to his needs and wants. Got pissed at me because I didnt stand up and support him. Need to support the club - not him as a person for sure. With his recent nasty e-mail barage at me - I have lost all respect for him for sure. BTW - this has more to do with his shows....I have attended both the QM show and the one at sunset Ford - BOTH shows ran MUCH longer than they needed to - all because of his talking. And in both cases, the cars were locked into the event till he opened the gates. After my attendance at the last one - I decided no more.
  9. Hey there, STILL time to get your registration in and save yourself $15. Get it in before the day of show and its $25. Day of show entries are $40. GREAT show - FREE T-Shirt. TGIF $1 Slider burgers, great raffle items, vendor booths, and an awesome DJ If you attend one show this year - don’t miss THIS show Page
  10. Hey there, This show is just over a month away (early registration prices end on September 1st). Dont miss this one - register early. Page
  11. Hehehe - no problemo I wrenched on an AA/FC for a while when I was younger (LOTS younger)
  12. Actually, most pro drag racers dont run polished blowers. Might be small - but the rough case actually has a slightly larger surface area - and cools better.
  13. SOLD New owner JUST pulled away in it. Got $13,000 for it. Gonna miss it
