  2. Hello, I am completely new to this world of cars So please bear with me. I have just purchased a 2019 shelby gt350. I have never owned a mustang be for except for a 4cyl in 1980. Lol. This is a long way from that. I really like the car but! I live in upstate NY and the roads SHIT and this car tramlines wicked as many of you already know. Makes it not fun to drive on roads that have patches on them. So my question is what do I do other them move. Has anyone actually found tires that help correct this problem with out buying new wheels. Thank you for your help and be gentle on me for being ignorant. Little blu
  3. Hello All, I have acquired a Paxton supercharger that was taken off of a 1966 mustang gt350. The car was my fathers, when he sold the car in the mid 1980’s the future owner had specific plans for racing the car and didn’t want the blower. I have read that only 11 gt350’s were factory equipped and it is believed that only 9 still exist. I am trying to find out the history for mine. Every other one that I’ve seen has COBRA etched into the manifold that goes over carb, mine has SHELBY etched in that location. So - who can tell me some info on this piece? thanks Mike
  4. This story begins with a young lady. This young lady was looking for that special car. After some searching, a unique opportunity, with a special car, presented itself. After contacting the party who owned this car and arranging a family test drive, the car was purchased. The year was 1967. The car is 6S289. The young lady is my mom. Mom always loved 6S289, her 1966 GT350, even during those 28 years that it sat idle in her garage. In 2005, it was my honor, after those 28 years of being dormant, to work on bringing 6S289 back to its former glory. 6S289 was back on the road again in 2007 and Mom was so excited to see this after now 30 years. Mom attended car shows and loved to share her experiences of 6S289 with those who would stop by to see her special car. Mom was able to enjoy these times for only a few short years, because sadly, we lost mom three years ago. I want to remember and honor mom and one of those things she loved and really enjoyed - her GT350. The photo is of mom and 6S289 in 1968. Mark
  5. The current GT350 has a couple of design elements incorporating Shelby, the Cobra and GT350 badging, including an updated/stylized GT350 fender badging. Beyond the reserved front fender badge, we wanted to add a touch more GT350 detail that would be visible from short distance on the GT350 side views, but less than the retro GT350-type rocker panel stripes sold by aftermarket vendors. Since we had white stripes on our Track Pack Competition Orange (CY paint code), we went with coordinating white decals mounted on the rear/aft-most door/rocker position, just before the rear wheel wells. On the driver's side, the door edge gap matched the letter spacing on the GT350 decals perfectly, on the passenger side, we maintained similar decal positioning but cut the letters to accommodate the door edge gap, the decal still looked good on that side too.
  6. I have a brand new 2019 Shelby GT350R with only 250 miles on it. I was driving on a commercial street and while in 1st gear coming to a stop car shut off. I though the car stalled by its self so I tried to start the car again and all I hear is a click but engine won’t turn and starter won’t turn. Battery was working perfectly fine. Roadside came and tried to jump me but same issue only a click and no start. So we tried to roll start the car and no luck. Seems like the engine won’t turn. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE? Car is going dealer tomorrow but I trust very few people with my car. THANK YOU!
  7. So this is the first and only time ive noticed this on my 2019 gt 350, of course engines create heat but I saw some sort of steam looking thing coming out of the hood front right side. The car is about 2500 miles in. Im no expert on internal mechanics. About a week before that I started up the car and I heard a snap sound and it sounded like it came from the front of the car. I checked under the hood, but nothing seems to be broken. I have been careful with my car since I first got it. None of the indicators showed any signs of problems of the car, no overheating issue.
  8. I’m very excited to have acquired F0043. I’ve wanted a 2015 since first learning about them before their release. I was given the opportunity to finally get one, and love it. I’ll need to get caught up on all the particulars of these cars again. So, i’ll Be on this forum more often
  9. I had an issue with my running pony puddle lamps and replaced them with these Cobra puddle lamps. I believe they are off a 2019 GT350. They are oriented at a bit of an angle but are much more "fitting" than the running pony. Has anyone else tried these or found anything else to replace the running pony?
  10. I did a quick search but did not have any luck. Are 2017 GT350 production numbers available by color? Thanks.

  13. I removed my wheels to decontaminate and coat with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armor. I was frustrated on how little room there is for a socket on the 2013/2014 Shelby wheels. I tried various different 13/16ths sockets. They all rubbed on at least a few lug nuts per wheel. I had to constantly add new electrical tape to the socket for protection to keep from marking up the wheels. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do to resolve?

  15. I'm a new member. I am super excited about getting delivery of my new to me 2014 GT350 vert. The original owner opted for the 525hp supercharger. Do any of you know if these can be upgraded by Shelby to the 624hp version and what that entails? I have called Shelby a few times and have not heard back from them.
