Hi, which Rear Gear Pinion Bearing I need for my: Shelby GT500 2013/14 w/o Track pack w/o Torson Axle Code is S213C2 - 3.73 There are so many different informations at the different shops where I can order the part. Some say 9L3Z-4630-A, other says 6L2Z-4625-AB. Americanmuscle says a special "High Torque Bearing" is necessary, FordPerformanceParts say not - this is only for der Track Pack 13/14 GT500. FordPerformanceParts -> use M-4210-B2 but except 2013 Boss and 2013-2014 GT500 - does not fit 2013 Boss or 2013-2014 GT500 with axle codes S-215-D and S-219-D ??? Can someone help me, please. (sorry about my bad english, I am from Germany)
  4. Hey all... I was wondering if someone could help me out with something I'm experiencing. Im pretty sure its the clutch but I thought I would have other symptoms if that was the case. Ive noticed that if I'm in gears 4,5 or 6 and I get on the gas at a low RPM the engine RPM and Boost revs up, the car doesn't go anywhere and then all of a sudden it catches and takes off. It feels just like I'm spinning the tires but I know I'm not. No problems at all with gears 1,2 and 3. I can pull on them as hard as I want and nothing feels like its slipping. The clutch pedal itself feels fine and I'm not smelling anything either. Anyone got any ideas before I go spend $1200 and put a clutch in? She's a 2010 Shelby with the 2.5" Pulley and tune and 37,000 miles on the whole car. Thanks in advance.

I purchased a vmp gen 2 blower and throttle body from vmp, upgraded my injectors to id1000s, boost a pump, 2.4 in pulley, 15% overdrive pulley, lt headers, vmp triple pass heat exchanger, belt tensions, jlt 123mm cai, and it runs great at about 3/4 throttle, but as soon as i WOT and the boost kicks in my car studders and falls on its face, im swapping out spark plugs today and gapping them to .30 like they recommended, but there telling me that sparks the only issue with my tune, i don't personally see how it can be spark but im swapping them just to be safe, has anyone had any issues like this and have a resolution, or any ideas what the issue may be? I'll keep everyone posted if the spark does fix the problem. Then the car falls on its face it shoots flames out the rear pipes, just in case that may be an indicator to a potential resolution. Thanks for any help!
  6. Alright, so my gt500 has: headers, exhaust, intake, 2.6" aftermarket pulley, and a tune of some sort (idk what kind, I got the car like this.) I just discovered that although it's pulling 12 lbs boost right now, it's still running the plugs that came in it from the factory. I'm gonna put some NGK TR6's in it, and I've gathered from this forum that I should gap them .035". However, does this change require re-tuning? I sure hope not. Any help would be appreciated1
  7. Guys, I need your expertise. My 2013 GT500 wheels got jacked and I have a suspect who posted them bitches to Craigslist. I have pictures of the inner-wheel and need to know if the number below the Ford logo is a definite serial number or not. It's a 5 digit number, to the right of which is a date, then part number, country of origin (Taiwan), etc. Does anyone know for sure, 100%? Ford customer service said no, Shelby America didn't know (i really didnt expect them to), and the cops have been told the same when they called a dealership (groan). Thanks guys, Chris
  8. Hi all a little help needed. I recently bought a 2010 GT500 and am going to do the VMP 2.5" pulley and tune. I also have a 2013 F150 Ecoboost that i bought a SCT SF3 part #3015 for and dont really like the tunes on the truck. My question is could I have VMP email me a tune for the Shelby and I put it on that tuner after I return the truck to stock? Or do I need to buy the X3 or X4 tuner for it to work on the car? Just trying to save a few bucks here and if I can use the SF3 on the Shelby I might as well do that as I dont think I will put a tune on the truck again. Thanks in advance.

  10. Hello, I have a 2006 GT-H with 10k miles on it. It is an automatic but when I shift it manually 1st - 3rd I am experiencing some troubles. In first gear I can climb to desired RPM then shift and it will let me do the same in second gear. So no problems in first and second gear, however when I shift it into third gear the car will automatically shift at 2500 RPM. The car will not let the RPMs climb past 2500, it will shift automatically on its own (only happens in third). It hasnt thrown any codes and the dealer said that it is an automatic and should be driven in auto. Also if it matters it shifts as it should in drive???? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  12. I'm in need of some help in finding a set up for tires and wheels for the rear of my 2012 GT500. I recently installed the 750HP kit on the car and the 295x35x20s just won't hold it on the ground. I would really appreciate any help with information.
  13. Hello team Shelby members. Well as my post says thanks for the last three years, what I meant by that is through clutch tsb's: 08-16-04, 09-19-11, and now 10-3-08, if you have gone to the largest dealer in the United States that is located in the San Fernando Valley area (with out being too specific) I wanted to say thanks as i have been the only tech there that has been doing all these tsb's for you guys. It has really been a pleasure. I have had face time with some of you, go on test drives, and meet some cool people in the process. But the point of me posting here is to give a heads up that I am no longer working at that location. I am going into business for myself and i would like to continue these relationships with you guys. Grant it now you can't come to me for warranty repairs but regular service and maintenance, upgrades, or aftermarket parts installs, I would be more than happy to help you and you can feel comfortable knowing that you have a factory trained tech still working on your vehicle. Again thanks for the last few years and hopefully see you soon.
