He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! Carroll Shelby (Team Shelby Member #001) said: "We built Team Shelby for anyone who is passionate about Shelby cars! We’ll have a blast and we'll do it the Shelby way!   Yearly Membership Rates   U.S. $49.99 | Canada & Mexico $59.99 | E.U., others $65.99   Join the Team Shelby Club   click here to choose a Team Shelby Club subscription package.   Membership Kit Arrival   Your Team Shelby Club membership kit and I.D.card will generally arrive within 6-8 weeks.   Need Help?   Email Brianna:  e-mail her here.

  1. Team Shelby VIP Le Mans event

In 1967, Shelby American and Ford Motor Company won Le Mans with the Ford GT. That was the only time that an “All American” team captured the crown. Fifty years later, we are returning to watch the most challenging endurance race in the world with the first Team Shelby Le Mans VIP Experience. Join Aaron Shelby and Team Shelby for this adventure on June 16-18. 2017. Working directly with Ford Motor Company and SMC Events, Team Shelby has a package that includes tickets to an exclusive suite overlooking pit row, special autograph sessions, motorsport celebrity appearances, meals, limited edition gifts and unbelievable access to amenities. There are options for hotel rooms and even a helicopter ride if you want to add some extra fun to your trip. If you price other manufacturer-sponsored packages, you will find the value for this Team Shelby Le Mans VIP Experience is simply incredible. Carroll Shelby was the only person to win Le Mans as a driver, team owner, and manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to relive Shelby history and witness Ford’s defense of their crown in the next generation Ford GT. Sign up asap because space is very limited. We hope to see you at the finish line in Le Mans! 6. Here's the latest on the movie about Carroll Shelby. Besides Tom Cruise, looks like Brad Pitt will be in the cast: http://entertainment.time.com/2013/12/20/tom-cruise-and-brad-pitt-may-re-unite-for-racing-movie/ The movie will be based on A.J. Baime's book, "Go Like Hell". If you haven't read this book, you should.
  7. The 50th anniversary of the Shelby American Cobra Daytona victory at the 1964 Le Mans race will be celebrated this Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, AZ. 8. It has been announced that Tom Cruise has been selected to star in a movie about Carroll Shelby, called "Go Like Hell". The movie is from the book "Go Like Hell" by A.J. Baime and is about Shelby and his role with going up against Ferrari at Le Mans in 1966. In my opinion, a movie about Shelby should have been made well before the movie "Rush" due to the fact than no other American won a World Championship as a driver, as a constructor (Cobras) and with the Ford GT40s. If you haven't read Baime's book, you should. Here are some links about the proposed movie: http://www.autoweek.com/article/20131025/CARNEWS01/131029885 http://www.eonline.com/news/474085/tom-cruise-gearing-up-for-racing-drama-go-like-hell http://variety.com/2013/film/news/tom-cruise-joseph-kosinski-board-go-to-hell-1200756272/
