Hey guys:  I know that this is a die cast site, but I thought you guys might like seeing my 08 Shelby GT.    I took the Shelby out of winter storage yesterday and it was 68 degrees.  I took my better half out for a ride in the Shelby and then out to dinner.  And then guess what happened?  After just driving a few miles and pulling a few easy gears a smile came over my face!!!!!!      That car never fails to amaze me and it's a blast!!!   :worship:      I'll be posting a pic of my ShelbyGT!

Also guys, I'll be posting one other pic showing a helpful tip!!!!!!:hysterical2:

Hope your better half had a nice mother’s day dinner.  Keep up the good work for us guys ...no really we went over  to our sons for two mothers day celebrations  🎉 free wine 🍷  and steak  🥩

Nice SGT and that’s a great color ...looks perfect. Did u bring your fishing pole to the lake ? ?...I though you said you took your better half out to dinner of did u catch it.:hysterical2:

My favorite Shelby’s are the 06,07,08 models. The blue really pops on your car Mongoose. Love your home and it looks like you have two garages with some land to stretch out in...that’s cool. Need it for all your toys. Who shovels all the snow on your long driveway ?:sos:

Here are a few pictures of the 2018 mustang GT 1:25 scale that revell puts out $15 . It’s snaps together and got it for our grandkids. Not diecast but it’s the only 2018 on the market ( except for the little one that Chris showed )  They made a mistake and the panel above the front spoiler is black like mine. But I painted it black. That panel is a snap on and they could not do both colors. That’s cool I like it.

Off topic but...Mustang GT4 second consecutive win for car #60 at Mid Ohio in the conti series. #60 Roush team and kohR team win  !

Two Mustangs battle it out. Nice win for Ford . Impressive entry list of GT4 cars  Porsche, BMW, McLaren , Mercedes, Audi and Aston Martin. 24 cars total. Wtf happened to the camaro it’s been a no show from day one ?  I don’t miss the team mullet entry. :hysterical2:

HeyMike, I too really like the style of the 06 thru 08 Shelbys!  But I also think the 1969 & 1970 Shelby is pretty cool too!   That's a nice looking 2018 Mustang you got for your Grand kids to play with!  They better watch-out or their Grandpa might borrow it for his collection! LOL:lol:   My driveway is about 400ft long and very wide at the top, and my wife and I take turns using our large snowblower.  If the snow is really bad, like are last Blizzard, "Worst one in a 120 years" I will take out "Big Red"!  That's my 77 f250,Highboy with a Meyers plow on it!

That's pretty cool that both the Ford's GT4s took first and second, and it sounds according to you that the Chevy Camaro  wasn't even in on the action!    That's to.......bad!!!!!!

Yes sir....there’s a CS6 and a CS8. Not keen on the side scoops myself.

I bought those two diescasts from a fellow Team Shelby member a couple months ago. He owned a CS6 and parted with it, so he didn’t want the diescasts anymore.

I’ve never seen em before. Very very rare indeed! :yup:

Hey guys,  Thanks to both of you on your nice comments on my "Blue Goose"!  LOL:hysterical2:     Chris, Mike has been giving you a hard time about seeing things and that you need glasses, but yet he thinks he has x-ray vision like "Superman".   What I think Mike really needs is the bottom of two coke bottles cut-off so he can use them to see better!!!!!    :kookie:  :kookie:     Now that's funny!    :hysterical:

My first new car was an 5.0 '82 GT. Since no one made a model kit of it (look it up, they didn't), I kit bashed one, including a Ford EXP kit to get the correct steering wheel. I know the rims arent' correct '82 GT wheels, but in it's later year my own car sported the larger 15" 85 GT wheels.  A lot of hand painting for this 1:25 scale beauty that will always hold a special place in my heart.

I’ve posted my 1:18 red Shelbys and Mustangs tower collection before but it has grown quite a bit and changed in structure since the last post.  Mach 1, my 2008 Super Shake is the 6th car from the bottom on the far left tower...it doesn’t have the giant fender emblem like yours, and Shelby Collectibles emblems aren’t to scale.  Yours actually looks like the Las Vegas Speedway Shelby 427 edition badge with the flags.  Mine is just the standard Super Snake cobra and wings.

Some of these cars are pretty rare and unique, while others are common and in the collection merely to get as many different years of red 1:18 as possible of the 50+ years of Mustang/Shelby.  The towers are well over six feet tall, and for scale purposes you can see the 1:12 Mustang convertible that Chris posted a long time ago at the bottom right (not in a case).  The other uncased convertible is a 1:18th Japanese friction toy Mustang.

I’ll post more pictures if anyone is interested.

Hey guys!  I'm posting some more pics that I think you might appreciate even though there not Mustangs!    This is a very cool limited edition of Hot Wheels, "Night at the Races"!  It's around 1961 and Sprint car racing is popular on the 1/4 mile oval dirt tracks around the country. These cool Sprint cars are usually built and maintained by their owner and they usually run on a very low budget! Hope you enjoy the pics!!!!:)
