He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! I'm digging both of these Chris, so you just ordered through Wal-Mart.com? I have the 2012 Gulf GT500 in 1/18 scale. Picked it up at Shelby Store during the Vegas Bash.

Hey chris,  I really like your two new additions to your collection.  I've never seen either one of these cool models before!   Love the gulf colors and the inboard headlights, and the engine baye is pretty cool too.  Both cars also have nice rims and the Teralingua Mustang also has a very nice engine baye too.  I like that yellow paint job with all those neat racing decals on it help make it look tough!     "Nice Pics", Chris!  :puppy_kiss:

Hey Chris you were right I do want both of those. Just don’t have the room. Always love the gulf colors that’s why I have a gulf gas pump in my garage. Nice job on the prop rod. Looks better then your Hugh finger blocking the engine compartment.:slapfight:

Bailey’s chip was put in by here breeder I think on her back area. If you ever watched the movie ... best in show , she was just like one of those characters. Also a MD at the CDC in Atlanta. Unique individual for sure.

See Mongoose that’s a 67 Shelby for Pete’s sake. 😂

Hey Chris, That was a good snag on your two recent additions, ( cool cars)!   I won't mind owning those too, but, I'm suppose to be downsizing my collection.  LOL    If I purchased those two, I know my wife would be upset with me, LOL, and I really don't have any more space to put them.  :gaah:      P.S.  Chris, please tell Slow Lane to take it easy on me for posting the wrong year on that Shelby pic in a recent post because he knows those cars alot better than me!!!!  LOL:lol:  :drop:      Also, on the Micro-chip, my wife & I  have seen the Vet insert the chip in the shoulder -neck area.    Another thing, my wife says a chip could migrate ( move around) in the dogs body, which isn't that unusal.  A dog should probably be checked all over for a chip to be sure!    You and Gina take care!

Very nice collection of the Cobra Jets, I use to own a 69 Mach 1 , 428 Cobra Jet, R code. In (M.O.) the 428 C.I., was probably one of the best engines that ford produced, it was a awesome torque monster!

Very very nice, Falcon. The motoring music piece is extraordinary.

Just picked this up at Walgeeens while shopping for vitamins....

Sorta pricey at $5.99, but has better than normal detail and cool pkging. The other four examples of the collection were there on the hook, but I don’t buy em like that....I only buy what I like typically.

That is a great piece. I did get one of those, as well as having the set that TRU did at Christmas. Has the same artwork on the box. There is also an earlier release of the same piece in liquid blue on the Forza card, as well as an earlier TRU set with the same on the box.

I has a Q-Code (non-ram air) '69 Grande', and it would pass anything but a gas station...when I could traction. People buying performance cars now are getting great performing cars, but nothing like the torque beasts we know and love.

Hey guys,  Chris,  I really like those colors on the Hot Wheel, (Race Version Ford GT). And, I too only buy what I really like, it has to "Pop" when I look at it, or simply be "Cool"!

Falcon:  yes the 428 Cobra-Jets really liked their gas, but as you know, they were one Hell of a "Torque Monster" out on the road.   I've never driven or had anything else that delivered the amount of "Torque" that 428 produced!!!  And yes, I did call it the "Beast"!!   P.S.  My wife once asked me why I call it the "Beast", so I gave her the keys and she never asked me again!!!!  LOL

A few Anniversary pieces, the Ford GT pair is the American release on the right and European release on the left.Other than a sticker on the back of the package I can find no difference. The 1:18 is  Beanstalk piece, one of 1000.

Since this is a Shelby site, the 2007 GT500 Hot Wheels Elite. I try to ignore the oversized wheels. It looks like 22"s. The carpet inside is nice.
