I'll pass Chris..... but you're too kind buddy! :salute:

Leaving mine....I seriously believe in patina on this car. They all had the problem, therefore everyone will know its "OEM".

Do yourself a favour and buy a new one,I agree with you my stock one is still on but I have a new one waiting in the wings just in case it gets so bad I can't stand it any more. You never know when they are not available any more.

You'll be stoked Bikeboy, way better fitment, plus you don't have to trade it in and will have very cool "patina" wall art

If you're talking about these:

These are actually BOLTS! 8/32 stainless and I used RIVNUTS to fasten to hood!

Ok, then you can find some thing to fake rivets at an arts and craft store.

Why not just rivet it on with the rivets that came with it? That is what I did on the 2008. It turned out great. I think the 3M tape will make it stand up off of the hood. Just saying.

If it was my car I would rip off the scoop cut a hole in the hood & mount a Big SC on her.

Here is the new scoop not et installed. Beautiful. My old scoop had 6 bolts, 2 under hood mat, 4 real screws each side & 2 in front and 2 in back, the rest were faux/fake. This is truly an upgrade, beautiful work Shelby.
