A Tribute to Our Military

Recommended Posts

Trace Adkins and The West Point Cadets.

This is absolutely AWESOME! Be sure to watch until the video is completely finished and a screen will come up to show how many people have viewed it! I'm sure some of you saw it live, but others may have missed it.

Probably could not have happened at the Academny Awards.

After you click on the link, click on "watch again" under the small picture and the video will start.

A personal thanks to our brave men and women salute.gif

Prior to the awards show, Trace Adkins spent about a week at WP for rehearsals, etc. Here are some pics at WP during that time...the cadets really had a good time.

Also, he put on a concert at Ike Hall at WP on Friday night before Homecoming Football....He actually showed up the next day at the game to sing the National Anthem w/ the Glee Club! This was son's senior year and he said it was "cool". :salute:

Trace has done a great deal in support of our military and their families....

Must have been a lot of fun for your son. I had a chance to visit West Point and the Naval Academy years ago and the AF Academy a bit more recently. Incredible institutions! Attending an Army-Navy game is on my bucket list!

John,

we went to Army-Navy last year and it was wonderful! Actually, it was 2008. That was the game when Army dawned the new camaflouge helmets (ACU) and pants. I tried my best to buy one of those helmets, but no dice. It was really cool when our last Commander and Cheif buzzed the stadium in Air Force1, then Apache helos, parachuter's... If you get the chance to go you won't ever forget the trip. Craig

Wow...sounds like a great time. We'll have to do it sooner rather than later. I'll get ahold of you for some tips before we do it.
