Full Throttle Fall Fest

Virginia International Raceway, Danville, VA

November 22–23, 2014

Summit Point:

This event is an HPDE open track format on the Summit Point Main Circuit for two days. $450.00 for two days or $250.00 for one day. If you meet the early bird registration for the two day option, you will receive a $55.00 discount for two days. You cannot get the discounts on line, you must mail in a hard copy registration form and a check. This discount is $55.00 or $395.00 for two days until September 1, 2014, after that everyone pays full price of $450.00.

You must be a member of either SCMC or TCUSA in order to participate in our on track events. To join one of these clubs, go to www.svtcobraclub.com if you own an SVT Mustang/Shelby GT500/Boss 302 or go to www.trackclubusa.com to join if you do not own an SVT Mustang/SVT Shelby GT500/Boss 302. Regular price of $450.00 goes into effect if you do not register on line or mail your check by the September 1, 2014 deadline. You do not have to be a member if you are entering the car show.

 

Be sure to mark your calendars and save the date – September 20-21, 2014.

Event Format:
Track Time: 9am - 12pm / 1pm - 5pm
There will be 4 novice sessions of 20 to 30 minutes per day
The remaining track time will be open session for all experienced drivers and instructors.

Virginia International Raceway:

The Superfest includes three days on the 3.27 mile full course where you can reach speeds in excess of 140 mph all in a safe, controlled environment. Instructors will be available and you do not need any special equipment to run on track over the weekend. We will be running the full course on both Saturday and Sunday.

 

The event will be held at the world class location of Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA, just east of Danville, VA. The Fest will consist of two days of open track. Also available will be on site karting, skeet shooting, and more....

The first 20 people to sign up can take a $100.00 discount in leiu of the $45.00 discount offered when you mail in a check and a hard copy registration form. The $45.00 discount is good till November 1, 2014 and again is only good with a mail in registration. (You cannot take both discounts) The first 20 people will be listed in this thread and once we reach that number, the $45.00 discount goes into effect.

The Full Throttle Fall Fest is also a "Meet for all Shelby GT500 owners." Owners can have a group photo of their cars on track. Have their cars displayed in the Gallery for Saturday night dinner, and get some on track shots of their cars.

The hard copy registration form can now be downloaded for those that want to pay with a check. Your options include two day on track registration, one day on track registration, hyperdrive (one 30 minute session on track in your car), or parade lap fee. You do not have to pay for parade laps if you already paid for either a one day or two day registration fee, the parade laps are included in that purchase.

We always have a great turnout at VIR....great facility and great fall weather. Usually see 100-120 cars....hope you can make it.

The car show/cruise in is free so sign up early as it is a preregistration event only, that means you cannot sign up for the car show on the day of the event. You must preregister or you cannot enter the show.

Hey GR40, had a great time yesterday. The track time was great. I was wondering if you know if photos were being taken of our group during the parade lap session? I noticed several photographers along the route. Thanks, I will definitely be there in May.

Thanks very much for your interest in ordering your on-track photos. More than 3,750 photos were taken of all run groups, HyperDrive and parade laps during the Full Throttle Fall Fest at VIR, November 22 - 23. Participants can order their individual photos on CD for $60 (or just $30 for parade lap only participants), including shipping and handling (payable via Paypal). To order your photo CD of ALL your images taken over the weekend, please send Paypal payment to David at 70machwon@nc.rr.com. Please be sure to include run group, day(s) run and car description. Orders will be processed on a first come/first served basis. Photo CD’s are typically shipped within 5 – 7 days via first class mail.
