Had a great time at the 9th Annual Shelby American Bash 2016 in Las Vegas (March 3 - 6). Allen Grant, Shelby American Driver, was honored at the Saturday night banquet and received the second Shelby Spirit Award. Here are some links to pictures of the event in case you weren't able to attend (you don't need a Facebook account to view the pictures):

Definitely something everyone should do once. Hoping that, for the 10th, they come up with something that would draw the old crowd back. Great photos of all the various parts of the event. Thanks for posting.

Hey Dr Clark,

Help us out with some ideas of what you think is missing.

This year we had three great evening parties, two days of track, two cruise/driving events for non-track participants and a car show on Sunday.

For next year's 10th anniversary, will will be adding back in the Shelby Run from southern California to commemorate the 2008 Bash . We will wait for the results of Survey Monkey, but by and large the feedback received has been overwhelmingly positive for this year's format (which by the way, was mostly planned based on last year's survey results)

Would love to see you join us again

Regards,

Michael

Everyone, as Michael has already mentioned if you receive a Bash survey please fill it out as we truly want to hear from you. Telling us in person or on TS that you want the scavenger hunt brought back or to have a drag strip event added is fine but its more beneficial if those comments are added to your survey response so that your likes or dislikes are not overlooked.

If you want more branded Bash merchandise let us know, if you want more or less track time let us know, if you want certain things brought back or new things added, again let us know and the survey is the perfect place for you to voice your opinions.

We had a great time. Thanks to all those who planned and put the Bash together. I'll keep my eyes open for the survey, but I'll say here that the a la carte options were great.

I've been pushing for a la carte tickets for quite some time so I'm glad we finally implemented it. I know not everyone is happy with the mandatory $75 charge but that is needed to cover some of the processing costs but it does include a gift bag and this year there was also a $20.00 merchandise voucher included which was pretty cool.

Any gift bags left over for purchase?

Not sure on that, probably best to send Jenni or Tracey an email on that.

The Shelby Store does have the pint glass for sale which was part of the gift bag. The Store also has some of the Bash clothing available. See link below.

Amy has sold all the Shelbys she acquired while working for SAI.

Amy does see us when we start the events in Palm Springs, where she lives and has business interests
