He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! There are many new generation Super Snakes out there, even some right hand drive versions. Many Super Snake owners have a minimum online presence, not sure why that is but its been that way since we started building Super Snakes back in the 2008 calendar year so you can't judge the enthusiasm/ownership by the number of board postings.

DAMN I WISH I WAS RICH! I WOULD DRIVE AN SS EVERYWHERE, OR ANY SHELBY FOR THAT MATTER! OH, AND STILL BE A FREQUENT FLYER ON THE FORUMS!

I'm not rich by any means and I drive my '13 SS more than just about anyone. Got 60K miles on it. If you just let the car sit in a garage and don't play with it, there is no reason to share anything about it on the forums.

That Blue on the White is perfect and almost ordered one. I was in the process of ordering one and Gary P. sends me an e-mail just saying wait a week and out comes the new Bunny and went with that

I've been curious at how many 5.0 Coyote Super Snakes they have built and or are on order because the GT500 Super Snake owners do not like their little brother

How much power will the automatics handle?

2011-up 5.0 drag racers have run 8's in the 1/4 mile with them.

Interesting statement, as I plan on adding a third to my stable. Different beasts IMO.

Does the 5.0 have forged internals? I wonder if 725 HP has caused any issues in current cars. I haven't heard of anything so that's good news.

The 5.0 has forged powder metal rods, floating wrist pin, with hypereutectic pistons.

I recently spoke to a couple of Ford dealer service departments about installing the base FP/Roush supercharger. I was surprised when a service advisor was advising against the optional warranty saying they haven't seen any issues with them after many installs. Don't know if that changes with the typical additional SS hp, but seemed a good sign.

Posting new Super Snake. 2015 car with 2017 Super Snake package. Just got it back a little over a week ago and it won first place in its class at the local Mustang show two days later.

First stripe delete Super Snake. As far as I was told, first stripe delete SS ever since this is the first time it was offered. If anyone knows a previous gen SS that slipped out of Shelby without one, let me know so I don't make any false claims :)

Shelby interior option - black seats with redline stitching. Finished out the redline interior with parts from the California Special and GT350R.

Can not say enough wonderful things about the whole experience and the car. Was treated wonderfully by Shelby the whole way through. Thank you Jason, Allan, Vince, Jim and Amber for making pickup day special.

John

The 2nd Gen (2015-up) 5.0's have Boss 302 rods made to handle boost up to 1000rwhp, 1200 has been done with fuel system mods alone. 800 can be achieved with no other mods. Guy at my local cruise has a 15 with 900+whp on E85 without opening the engine. The 15-up 5.0's are beasts!
