He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Recommended Posts

Is there a rocker stripe available anywhere yet for these cars, does anyone know?

I am going to call John Farmer on Monday if need be.

Thanks ahead of time.

I have seen a few but, I dont know where they came from. Honestly, they look out of place to me, something with the angle on the front fenders

Just as much as I think you may be right, something looks naked down there. Prolly oughtta leave it alone.

Over the last year or so, I have looked at several. My local dealer has a Race Red R now, and honestly the car has so little external styling cues, I would want them. The dealer said they could be done easily, just pay that huge ADM......... :)

Emailed Shelby Perf. Parts. Waiting to hear if the 2011 blue rocker stripes are available and if by chance they're sold "uncut" from front to back. If they're pre-cut for the old body style, then it won't matter.

BUMP

Anything new out there?

Been seeing more regular GT's with rocker stripes. Saw a Comp Orange car with black stripes here in Sandy Eggo, yesterday. Looked good, I thought.

I still feel like it's "missing" on the car. Maybe not all colors, but it looks naked on my Avalanche car I feel.

since you didn't like the American Muscle Stripe because the wording was on the door.........you can try the site below. They sell 2015-2017 Mustang Rocker stripes and will put whatever text (within reason) that you want in the stripe............ and the text appears to be on the rocker area behind the wheel.

Bikeboy,

Did you ever get any rocker stripes and if so what did you end up getting? I just got my Black 2017 GT350 and have been thinking that silver rocker stripes would look pretty good. Just curious what you ended up with and if you like it.

Question for the group. If you do rocker stripes would you have them say GT350? I wouldn't because of the emblem right above it. It would be too busy for me. Now remove the emblem and put on a PBF badge...maybe :)

I never did. As Dave says above (IASHELBYGT)..... the GT350 emblem above on the fender would be redundant, and not be so attractive IMHO. So no....never proceeded with anything.

I would like something that uses the Shelby name similar to what they are doing with the GTEs.

Here's the American Muscle version installed on my 2017.  I moved the lettering up to the front as traditional in the original GT350's.

I’m a little late to the party, but if you don’t mind me asking. What are the steps to moving the text to the front?

This looks way better than the way the American Muscle website shows the text on the door!

thanks!
