He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! 2013 GT500 Christmas present

Recommended Posts

Santa brought a 2013 GT500 with 2,400 mi. to my house. It came with the SVT package, Track package, Recaro seats, and Electronics package. The weather has been so bad I’ve had it out once. Hoping for better conditions next week.

Very nice!!  Congrats!!

Love the hood, but would like it much more so with stripes.  The big bulge I think looks better with stripes.

Enjoy it!!!

I think blues and silvers and maybe black look better with out, most other colors I think look better with. I really like your hood, I have considered that hood myself.

One word “careful “ until you get used to her. I know I’m a Debbie Downer. But unless you have MPSS tires forget wot in the first and second gears even with warm tires and all the nannies on. My old black 14 GT500 and the best of both worlds...stripes but they are hard to see haha

Those are 295 MPSS ( Porsche edition) on the rears which does help tame the beast. Stock rims.

You have a Beautiful car and one of the best engines on the planet. Enjoy your monster.

Thanks. I do have the MPSS tires. Yes one does have to respect the capabilities of these high horse power cars. My previous Shelby was a SGT/SC with the Whipple 550 upgrade. I really like the black body color with the flat black stripes. A few years back I really considered a 2008 with that paint scheme.
