He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too!  Breaking now.......

Elon Musk is hurriedly building the pod David described and should have one (or maybe more) there on Sunday. It could hold two boys and be light enough for a  Navy Seal to drag through the narrow passages they’ve talked about. If Musk ends up doing this and saving even half of those kids, I’ll have total respect for this guy now.

Edit- The story. https://www.rt.com/usa/432296-musk-submarine-thailand-cave-rescue/

True that BB don't care who he is if he can pull this off and save all those kids he sure as heck will have my respect.

Um, yeah it’s a large storm, but If you are posting in regard to it affecting the Thailand Soccer Kids rescue, it has already been reported that it  won’t have much, if any,  impact on the rescue. That storm is big, but its path and area of impact s Japan and central China/Taiwan and Northern Parts of the Phillipines. Thailand is over 2700 miles away from Japan. Thailand is already entering its natural monsoon season anyway and  Thailand meteorologists have recently stated that Typhoon Maria will probably have no effect on Thailand or the rescue. It would be sort of like you living in Pheonix ,AZ and being worried about a Hurricane in Miami Florida....................monster size storm though.

I think they hyped the danger to make it sound more impressive when they got them out.  Just like Scotty on Star Trek always exaggerating repair times to make him seem like a miracle worker when he got it done a lot faster.

I doubt that Doc....when it takes the life of a well trained Navy Seal it couldn't have been easy and every Navy seal that was interviewed

all said that it was extremely dangerous and coming from them I believe it....NOT the news I would believe for sure but a Navy Seal that

was actually there YES without doubt.
