His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! I really miss this Mustang.  It is the only 40th Anniversary Tribute Edition Shelby built.  The Lemans Stripes have 171 Photos printed on them.  This Mustang won 1st Place in every Car Show I entered it in and I will bet that Hundreds of Thousands of people have Photos of this Car.  This Mustang is now in Africa.

I watched the new episode of "AMERICAN CHOPPER" last night.  The series will be on Monday Nights at 10:00pm.  So happy it is back on, I like the Builds.  I just wish Vinnie would come back to Paul Jr. Designs.

My younger brother was a long haul trucker for years and tells me the worst city for that was Chicago...he told me in certain areas

entering the city some ways you entered the bridges were lower than usual and he saw that happen quite often.

WOW, Richard Simmons has to PAY the National Enquirer $130K because he is NOT a Transgender...................... The Judge in this Case SHOULD be Disbarred NOW.

When the judge dismissed lawsuit, which was filed in May 2017, he said that being misidentified as transgender “does not expose “any person to hatred, contempt, ridicule, or obloquy, or which causes him to be shunned or avoided, or which has a tendency to injure him in his occupation.’” Therefore, it did not fall into the category of defamation.

Could it be that Shelby was planning a Cobra for 1969?

I have started designing my unique Golf Course.  I have a question about the Putting Greens, about measurements.  As an example, one of the greens measures about 150 feet Long by 90 Feet Wide.  The Hole is about 130 Feet from the leading edge of the green.  Another Green measures about 130 Feet Long by about 70 Feet wide with the Hole being about 110 Feet from the leading edge.  Are these nice size Greens or are they to small?

Hey buddy...what is your end game on this (objective).  There is a lot that goes into the design of a course.  Is this going to be something you are planning to build?  How many holes (9 or 18)?  Executive, par 3, pitch and put?  My partner and I built a course (opened 2004)....Oviinbryrd.    It has been rated in the top 25 (out of 2000+) in Canada by Golf Digest since it opened.

I can probably get you some answers to your questions.  There were lots of challenges as I recall...building something special is expensive.  Building something unique is even more challenging because the consumer has a set of expectations and they have a lot to chose from.

Good luck in any event ...

Mark

PS.  Our championship course takes up 170 acres (we have 700 acres of land) and we have a lake where we built a few houses.

I will be looking to raise about $2 million to build it.  The design is super unique and has never been done before.  I will write something up and PM you about the design.

Our greens average 5-6 thousand square feet. You also need to account for different pin positions every day and the surrounds for equipment access.

My Greens are averaging 8,500 SqFt.  A few are 7,800 and a few are 9,500 and a couple are 10,000.

Generous sizes.  Just a caution, greens are expensive to build and especially maintain (irrigation, disease mitigation, labour etc.)  The larger the green the tougher it is to maintain a modest slope while maintaining adequate drainage, eliminating pooling after rains etc.  Given the competitive nature of golf courses today (25% fewer golfers than in 2002)...it requires that your ongoing operations model is very tight.  For example we pump 1.000.000 gals of water to irrigate our course (per day) in the heat of the summer.

Have fun buddy...

Mark

Wow, Yesterday was "MUSTANG DAY".  If I win the Election for County Commissioner, I plan to submit and fight for making a Proclamation making April 17th "Mustang Day" in Leon County and then getting with the Florida Governor to make it State Wide.
