He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Only problem is it is costing tax payers millions to have it legalized, yet we can`t afford to help our veteran`s .

I am not a weed guy...I have my daily Guinness.  If they wanted to be truly progressive they would pump the weed revenues back into the health system where it would do the most good.  I am not up to speed on veterans issues but I will bet health care is somewhere near the top of the list.

You'd think governments would learn from the first age of Prohibition, but they can't.  The reason marijuana is illegal is because the oil barons back in the '20s didn't want to compete with hemp for oil.  Henry Ford used hemp oil for his early cars, and the Getty's and his ilk saw too much competition, so they banned marijuana as an evil drug, and took hemp down with it.  And I'm sure the cotton farmers helped include hemp in the ban.  If hemp production could get going large scale we could save forests, because hemp paper is far superior to paper made from wood pulp.  The US Constitution is only around right now because it's on hemp paper; regular paper would've decayed decades ago.  As an edible, hemp is also the most complete protein in the plant world, far better than soy.  And like Keith already mentioned, way better to smoke marijuana than drink beer.  In my 3+ years as a paramedic I never picked up someone who crashed while stone, but drunk drivers were a daily occurrence.  Let people make the choice of what drug they want to use.  Legalize it all.

I'm off to Cali tomorrow.  That big ol' jet plane will be taking off in about 24 hours.  I'll be back on Mon.  Quick trip out to Sac for a family reunion.  Not renting a Mustang this trip since there won't be that much driving.  Y'all behave, don't want to find a bunch of missing threads when I get back.

But wasn't that one for Charity?  I thought Ford said as long as it was for Charity, they will over look it?

Heres what your medical experts say about drinking beer (2 a day) -  it  maintains the health of your kidneys, & prevents kidney disease by 40 % , lowers LDL  cholesterol, rich in Vitamins B1, B2, B6 ,  reduces heart attacks by 40- 60%, reduces blood clotting, according to scientific study the high level of silicone strengthens the bones. Beer drinkers have  a lower average of dementia, & Alzheimer disease.  OH & its cheaper than Mary J

In moderation there's no doubt it's good for you Jim....What I'm saying when it's consumed in larger amounts it's the opposite of what you posted

not only did I have a family member that killed himself because of over use of Alcohol but ruined his family along with him...like I said I've dealt

with drunken people and they get very aggressive and stupid where if someone is on weed they tend to be a bit off but not aggressive or violent

as far as us paying for it I wasn't aware of that...…….However we do pay for the idiots that drink and drive and cause people to die or live crippled.

Ya agree if taken in moderation ,as for the cost our government has spent millions of taxpayers money on getting ready to legalize  it in October, not a priority of mine thats for sure,  especially  when our PM turns his back on our veterans, saying we have no money to help you.

Yeah agreed Jim he's turned out to be one of the worst PM's we've ever had IMO....gives money to terrorists and don't give to the Veterans

real special that is.

Govt expects 400mil to 1bil (eventually) in annual tax revenue (25% feds...75% to provinces).   Think of current expense as an investment :)

Unfortunately all of those studies were paid by the beer companies, and they're loaded with bias, and they aren't randomized, double-blinded studies, but are retrospective studies, which aren't generally accepted very well for their findings.  So the 'findings' are questionable at best.
