Kicker Rear Sub Woofer installation

Recommended Posts

Quick question for those that have upgraded the rear trunk sub with the lighter/smaller ka-10 system. Do you leave the existing amps that are mounted behind the stock sub in place or are those removed?

I have the new sub arriving today and I'm looking over the instructions and I don't see any mention of the old amps/harness etc.

I had Tasca install mine, they installed all my mods because I wanted to stick with a Shelby Certified Shop so I can’t answer your question, but I can tell you the full kicker system absolutely kills the Mach 1000, the sound is MUCH better.  Good luck!!!

For those that decide to do this sound system upgrade you do remove the amps from behind the shaker 1000 sub.
