Who will they strike on next?  Ford or Chrysler?

I don't think they will strike Ford because they have just redone their Contracts this year from what I read.

Another week of workers sitting on their hands waiting for a vote. I at least I thought some plants would open up sooner . Can’t they vote electronically...no they have to fly into town to vote. By prop planes I imagine or pony express.....:hysterical2:

GM is still going to produce 2019 corvettes this late in the year. .......:headscratch:  WHY they still have them sitting on the lots. Then they have another 8 weeks to retool the plant. Such is life in the motor city these days.

Where the heck is the GT 500 also. Anyone see one at a dealership yet.. ?  Any 1/4 mile times ? Skip pad and such  Any for sale at MSRP ?  Crickets ...

Yep and 99.9% of my driving is under 80mph. Lots of 0 to 60 to be honest. Seat of the pants makes for a fun street car . Country roads curves and downshifting again under 65 mph. To be honest I sold my 16 GT350 because it felt slow on the street. Low end grunt was not there. Nobody home ...Torque didn’t come on until 4000 rpms. Could not use the 8200 rpm on the street. Never tracked it and wasn’t going to.

Could be.  What I was reading before the GM strike was that they chose to hit GM, and then will use that deal to bargain with the others.  Reports coulda been wrong, that fake news stuff, ya know.

Here’s a pretty good quote I just saw in my new Car & Driver mag.: “Brute force is a big part of the GT63 S’S success, and yet, all that power is meaningless if you can’t use it”.    It’s simply telling it like it is.    J.M.O.       :peelout:

Hey guys, I just got in the mail two more car mags., Road & Track and Car & Driver.   Some pretty good articles and pics. in both, so I did a little pick and choosing out of both mags for you guys to enjoy.   Also there will be a really cool picture honoring the life of the late JESSI COMBS, 1980-2019 , gone way to young!   This pic. was in my Road & Track and there was a really good article in it on Jessi by Julia Lapalm.   Also the pic of the two awesome Semis with their stacks billowing black smoke, and their part of the : Rodeo DU Camion which is fast approaching it’s 40th year. This is a Canadian festival big-rig culture that celebrates what trucks do best, also it’s a sooty, torque-filled, beer-soaked spectacle. Just my opinion, but it sounds like one hell of a good time in my book!   Hey Keefer, it’s in your neck of the woods, check it out, it could be fun.   There is also a cool pic of the FORD,”BIG FOOT” this is the truck that started it all, it’s on the cover of my Road & Track.    Also there’s a pic of a local Police drag car that I saw just sitting on a trailer at a business in town.  There is another pic of a pretty cool truck in a desert rally over-seas, I’m not sure but I think it might be a Unimog and that’s in the Road & Track mag. too.    Okay guys, gotta go it’s getting late again and I hope you all enjoy the pics.       R.I.P.  “JESSI COMBS”                                       Mongoose      :peelout:

I almost forgot what my order looked like until I saw this on the other C8 forum. It was on display recently. Sure wish they would have had that one at Road Atlanta last week.

Ah Road Atlanta in the morning before the cars hit the track...so peaceful

Why the delay anyone know on here. I thought they would have had one at Road Atlanta last week.

This is what I saw on Thursday one little small tent for Ford . Not one car was present. .:headscratch: All the other pavilions  Toyota,  Lexus , Cadillac , Mazda ,Chevy,  AMG ,BMW  and more were packed with cars and reps. Even a diecast vender has a bigger display .........
