He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! We are familiar with the car and the owner. This particular car was given to the winner of a Bullrun event in 2008, which was televised and sponsored by shelby american.  Mr. Wu was told the car's value was 100k, and he makes a Carroll Shelby connection because the car was owned by SA, the company.  So, about every other year he sticks it on eBay to see if he can get his 100k out of it.  LOL.  In a related note, I own the Terlingua raffled off by CSCF, which Carroll's charity bought, and I because Carroll Shelby's name is in the title, I probably have a slightly elevated claim of CS ownership, right?  LOL

Hey DubbFaris,

I just read your comment that said that you were the one that won the CSCF Terlingua. Awesome Car! If it is the same car (07TRT008), I got the pleasure of starting up that car and giving it a few revs when I saw it on display for the CSCF at Laguna Seca. I am so in love with the Terlingua and I hope some day to own one. I currently have a 2007 Shelby GT. Love that car so much!

Anyways, if it is the same car, I would be more than willing to send you some pics I have of your car.

Not sure what the title of this thread is trying to convey but if it is to say this is the first Terlingua built that would be an incorrect statement.

The seller claims this car is one of the first Terlinguas built but with only 39 Terlinguas built I suppose many owners could make the same claim. Also the claim that the car was owned by Carroll Shelby is very misleading.

What do you think the real value of this car is?
